Our defense has no answer whatsoever.

I'm seeing a lot of posts in which people seem surprised by this. They've been getting slapped all game long, why would they suddenly start dominating now?

3rd down defence has been horrible

That's because we're pretending like its Baker Mayfield back there. We blitz everybody on 3rd down, regardless of whether they're eating our lunch every time we do it.

Like I legitimately think Wink is just "mixing up coverages" just to say he does. If I were him, I'd be playing the most basic, vanilla defense possible right now, and just playing straight man across the board.

You keep dropping your linebackers and safeties into coverage on these "exotic blitzes" and Mahomes is going to bend you over every time.

I don’t think we have the personnel to stop them with their current OL. Our pass rushers just aren’t good enough. We can’t get pressure with 3 or 4 and the blitz is hurting us

Last year they signed people off the street and had them start four days later. They still haven't fully addressed the issue.
