Next Up: Pittsburgh

I'm not worried every week the Ravens have crapped the bed this bad they come back and respond positively and play well. Last time the Ravens played poorly in 2011 against the Jags with similar crap statistics, the Ravens responded by beating the Cardinals and the Steelers the following two weeks.

I think this game was an outlier.

Both games required come backs and I'm pretty sure the Cardinals game was a Ravens all time comeback. We started that game awfully and we sure as hell don't have the offense to come back from a deficit like that. That was also a very long time ago. This made me actually look up seasons and blow outs. in 12 and 13 got stomped out by Texans and Broncos and luckily followed those games up against the Browns twice. In 13 played Pats who kicked our ass then went and got blown out again following week. 15 season got the breaks blown off against the Seahawks and the Chiefs provided the funeral service the following week. There is no reason to believe this team will bounce back except the fact the Steelers have not been playing well.

The Ravens are 7-2 after losing by 20+ points in the John Harbaugh era. I think the team will be fine. The sky isn't falling after one loss.

At this point, I'll take the win. Even if it's really ugly and comes down to the last second - leaving me on the verge of having a heart attack. I just want to beat the Steelers and not be embarrassed at home.

But, this offense shouldn't surprise anyone that's paid attention to our FA and draft methodology,

There's no way to sugar coat it, I'm waiting for our offense, and namely Flacco and the WR core to have their damn pride game, this is pathetic and I'm like Mili, so damn sick of it.

Agreed @OURavensFan.

That's the difference between me and most Ravens fans. I NEVER keep trying to compare "present" Ravens teams with "past" teams and their accomplishments. 2011 was 6 years ago! This is a different year with different men on the roster so, let's allow these boys to stand on their own merits.

Not it's not but it sure is hanging low!

I mean it is to kill time until the next game because you really don't know what will happen. Every year is a different story, but it is fun to look at statistics between games and trying to make sense of everything.

If the Steelers are smart on Sunday, they might be able to run on us all day. Our O line on the other hand is in shambles. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't have a good feeling about this one. Can't see how we win in trenches on either side. Adrenalin, hurt pride from last week?

correct, amazing how the world has come to an end with some. Crazy...

In 2012 we lost to the Steelers, Redskins and Broncos in three straight losses and we all said on the other board that our playoff hopes were done and we weren't going to do any damage in the playoffs. Then we won the Super Bowl.

That really has no relevance to what is happening at the moment.

The point is the world isn't falling and it is a 16 game season.....

And last year we lost to the Redskins, Giants and Jets... and missed playoffs. Back to back to back Ls like a Wiz concert...

Vikings started out 5-0 and everything fell apart afterwards and they missed the playoffs. It's a long season which is the point I'm trying to make.

I get that, but I knew the Vikings were the worst undefeated team at that point, like I knew we were the worst 3 team before our string of losses. The 2012 team was inconsistent. There has been nothing consistent about this current teams offense and even the defense looked like a dumpster fire last game. There are usually signs a team will show, but you are right. There is plenty of season left. Just don't get your hopes up.

Well, my only hope is that Flacco, similar to 2012, has reached an all time low, and that he responds to this in the same fashion by catching fire.

But, this offense shouldn't surprise anyone that's paid attention to our FA and draft methodology, I see comments about Palmer. Name me a Ravens WR that will make the contested catches that Fitz made for him yesterday ? And who is 19 on Dallas? Saw him make a few contested catches as well.

And I'm glad the D got humbled, when Blake Bortles hangs 44 on you, you should probably just shut up and play ball for the rest of the season, they were pathetic too.

Go play real football against your arch rivals, you play like that and you'll lose 88-7 against those guys.

I don't think Terrence Williams is better than Jeremy Maclin or Mike Wallace at all, I can't buy into that. Dez isn't the guy that he used to be either, outside of his TD pass he was underwhelming pulling him 2 catches for 12 yards. What I noticed both QBs do is put the ball where it needs to be and accurately place passes, well timed and didn't let OL play effect them much. Carson Palmer stayed poised in the pocket and let plays develop and got the ball to his receivers. Larry Fitzgerald is great, make no mistake but outside of him no one else was impressive to me. JJ Nelson was held catch-less and Jaron Brown, their next guy up finished with 27 yards and a TD. Arizona's OL was atrocious and most notably their RT could legit be take most of the blame for the loss. I think we can me a legit argument that their OL is worse than ours.

What Palmer did was a great example of what the Ravens need from Joe, stay poised and calm in the pocket, obviously he needs some pressure off of him but for what he's getting paid more should be expected of him, at the same time, the Marty needs to scheme his receivers open and make things easier for Joe because apparently he's still working himself back from that injury. Even at that, Joe doesn't get a single pass from me, he's thrown a pick in 9 straight games which is a record, let's be honest here, that bad, really bad. I really want Joe to do great, I don't want us to have to look for a QB but if his interception trend continues along with poor offense than I believe it's the route we're going to take regardless of his cap number.

When wearing our beloved purple jerseys, the defense is only giving up 5 points per game. With the white jerseys? Shoots ALL THE WAY up to 44 PPG.

I'm just sayin'....
