The WR Thread

One thing i do really like about Michael Gallup is his willingness to go across the middle and make a contested catch while taking a hit. Not many people will do that for their teams. Would like to see him fight for underthrows more often but i like how hes physical at the catch point. His routes are really good and his slant route seems to be undefeated in college lol. Also a very consistent hands catcher.

I used to be harsh on him but i feel like its cause i cant get over his stance. His feet are always criss crossed.....it just bugs me

have you filled in a top 15 wr rankings on this doc?

i would appreciate it if you could if you havent already...
thanks lol

EDIT:

this is open to anyone on the forum btw and the more the merrier

From what I’ve watched/read he’s really athletic but extremely raw...so basically he might end up being a good receiver but not if we draft him.
I hope we stay away from this guy just so we don't ruin his career. I'm really not a big fan of picking a guy off of raw talent, I feel it works out way less than often. I have always felt Joe doesn't like throwing to rookies.

NFL Rumors
4/10: "Keep an eye on Ravens and Penn State WR DaeSean Hamilton. Could be a Day 2 option for them. They've shown a lot of interest." - Eric Edholm, Pro Football WeeklyEven if the Ravens use a first-round pick on Calvin Ridley or another receiver, they could still spend another selection on a wideout. Hamilton makes a lot of sense in the third frame. -Walter

Day 2? No. Day 3? Sure.

Kirk is niiiicce. Perfect trade back candidate. Or trade up in the 2nd round. Automatically our best returner and fits nicely in the slot with Crabtree and brown on the outside.

I love Kirk. He's my guy this year. When I watch him, I see some Doug Baldwin, Golden Tate, and Randall Cobb. I'd take any of those guys in their primes here.

I wouldn't be shocked if Ozzie takes him ahead of Ridley. Think they love the guy and the player.

We’re also absolutely in need of a player who can play slot snaps - not saying we need to focus on a slot receiver because the guys we need should be able to play everywhere but we definitely need someone who is comfortable and impactful from the slot

He's definitely the quintessential red star player that you'd typically see the Ravens take. High character guy who works incredibly hard on his craft both on the field and in the film room. Saw a story the other day that he would regularly make a 3 hour drive during regular season down times and the offseason to work with a specific coach, starting his freshman year.
