The WR Thread

We need to get ballsy in the draft and pull off a Julio Jones type trade on draft day. Unless we do something like that our WR woes will simply continue.
Lol no, first there isn't a Julio in this draft, second we'd need to trade nearly the farm to get in the top10 and third we'd have holes everywhere else on the roster.

We still have holes though and are more than a wr away from being a great team. We still need to get our pass rush together, we may need a FS because weddle seems to be rapidly declining, were gonna need a cb because jimmy is simply not dependable in terms of health and Carr is a liability when not given safety help, we need an ILB, and we may need a 5T if wormley doesn't turn out to be good, and we definitely still need work on the OL and we need a true threat at TE, getting a LG, RT, and re-signing Jensen are all more important than a wr imo.

I will guarantee Anthony Miller goes in the first. There is a lack of great receivers and people will fall in love with how fluid he is.

According to Tony Pauline, the word is that Courtland Sutton has signed with an agent. Word coming thst he has declared for the draft should be coming soon.

I will guarantee the opposite. There are at the very least 5 receivers who are better. Miller is small, could be very injured at the next level, and has a lot of easy passes dropped. In a deep receiver class FO will automatically focus elsewhere before filling a need at the position with what's left later.

Actually the way the draft works I can see how you are right in the fact that everyone wants the next Julio Jones, a big strong receiver. Does he have any injury concerns or just because he isn’t that big? He weighs the same as Calvin Ridley and Ridley is a bit taller. Miller is 5’11 and 190, Ab is 5’10 185, Obj is 5’11 195. In Miller I see a guy who runs great routes and can make amazing contested catches. I think he will be a complete stud

Uno, i think if we make the playoffs id pick dj moore in the first.

Don't care what round he's slotted to go in. Just Pick good players, he is one. Go get him

Not a great strategy when there's potentially better players available and that guy could probably be gotten in the next round.

Im heavily on the Kirk train for a first round pick. Especially comsidering where we might be picking
I want either Kirk or Pryce at the end of the first. If they're both gone, then trade down a few picks

I believe (could be wrong) he's missed a game this year with injury and he has a shoulder brace which could mean nothing but that still scares me a little. He reminds me a lot of Corey Coleman in his play style and Coleman has paid the price. Maybe if Miller blows up the combine he'll find himself in round one but I see too many issues counter balancing the amazing catches he makes to be a team's first choice. Kirk for example should be above him on every team's board and has a near similar skillset with more athleticism.

Our drafting has been crap lately. Just pick good players.

Definitely like Pryce at this point. I haven’t watched much tape of Kirk, only games, and of what I have seen I do like him.

Our last four first round picks are Humphrey, Stanley, Perriman, and Mosley. One likely bust, one all pro, a franchise LT, and a really solid corner so far (better than Jimmy was in his rookie year). That's actually a pretty good track record for first round picks compared to most teams.
