I never even implied he was dominant lol, just that his speed, quickness, length, and footwork are all very intriguing and he appears to be a real solid #2 and at worst a big play threat. Ceiling of Marvin jones floor of jacoby jones, but his hands are better than jacobys were so I think he's already above that floor as a wr.

Well that's what I understood from your comments about him being so sudden too sudden for DBs and all.
Agreed on the comps.
 
I think the best options in the 2nd that could believably be there are Kirk, Tate, Chark, Wilson, Pettis and Gallup. Any of them would be a big upgrade for us. Especially if we also grab someone with potential in the mid rounds, like Ishmael or Lazard.

I really like Cain, but I just see him rising up the draft board. I think he ends up going in the first half of the second round. Barring some weird slide, I'm thinking Ridley, Washington, Sutton, and Cain will be the first four WRs picked, and all gone by our second round pick. Likely Miller too.

not that hes too sudden for dbs, but at times he shows some really crazy footwork, like rapidly chopping feet and super quick shoulder fakes, really exaggerated motions he uses to setup his release and it often works really well.

then there are times where he shows literally nothing off the line or at the release, slow get off, no footwork, no selling, just casually strolling off the line and struggling with tight coverage. its frustrating in the same way that humphrey showed incredible everything until suddenly he just backpedaled sloppy and upright and turned and ran rather than flipping the hips and got burnt, like you see some really good looking traits and then suddenly he just has lapses.

Honestly.....Gallup, Kirk, Wilson, and Chark might be had in the 3rd. Would take Pettis in the 2nd in a heartbeat
 
Not as high pn Kirk as I once was and thats mainly because of the value of players his caliber. Most slot recievers in previous years with return ability went 3rd round. So thats where i think teams will see his value

Yeah, I could see him being a late 2nd, early 3rd type of pick. Which unfortunately would work well for the Patriots with their late 2nd round pick, and he'd be the perfect fit for them.
 
Very impressed by Keke Coutee. He's small but he's a blur, he's tough and he catches everything. There's some Tyreek in his game.

these last few paragraphs tell me a lot as to why he's not come up before:

BOTTOM LINE
Lasley has good size, great athleticism and is tremendously explosive. He also has one of the worst drop rates that you will find for a receiver over the last two years. He has home-run potential on the field and suspension issues off of it. It's this dichotomy that makes Lasley a difficult projection. Teams may be willing to live with some of the drops as long as he's making big plays, but he can't make big plays unless he is much more disciplined and focused in the pros than he was in college. Lasley has early starter potential, but there are enough red flags in play that he could see his draft stock tumble.

If Javon Wims doesn't have the best hands in this class I'm not sure who does.

unpolished receiver...not much variety of route but he has great raw tools. Big receiver that knows how to extend long arms with ease and snatch ball.

Great fade and back shoulder target. Will win jump balls in the red zone. Wins when he is blanketed because of his ball skills and ability to box out.

Great size and leaping ability. Fifth round would be a steal...guy has a ton more potential than most of the big guys ranked ahead of him.
