I doubt mims and aj esp fall that far.. if that was to happen we all will be going crazy on these boards lol
We pick 23rd in the second round. Hoping for Mims or Epenesa at 55th is like yesterday hoping for Lamb, Chiasson or Kinlaw to fall to us. I think we pick way too late for them in the second, unless GMs are way less enamoured with these picks than we are here on this board. So the question is, is EDC sold enough on these guys and their fit with us to let go a third or a fourth round pick. I doubt it, unless we only have to move up 2-3 spots.

Really like the spot the Ravens are in heading into round 2.

I think they have a great shot at one of the better IOL, either Hunt or Cushenberry.

Then assuming they want to take steps to making the offence “undefendable” , depending how the board falls either a high end receiver or running back should be available

While Jonathan Taylor in this offense would really be a sight to see, I don’t think he brings anything really extra, like yeah he’s a workhorse back with home run speed, so he tops Ingram on the home run part, but he also lacks third down experience and maybe the ability, which Ingram has.

so yeah I’d be cool with it, but if we wanna be indefensible we need to add a wr and add an entire new dimension to this offense, I’ve said time and time again that the real reason we lost to the titans is because they shut down the passing game to the middle of the field and the TEs were out of the game, and the only receiver who could separate was the double and triple covered Hollywood. Lamar was hopping around all night looking for guys to get open and they weren’t.

replace a Seth Roberts with a Denzel Mims or Bryan Edwards and this offense is a whole nother monster. Add Robert Hunt to the mix as well.

BOB probably feels like he signed a great receiver

Texans signed S Michael Thomas, formerly of the Giants.

There's a non-zero chance Texans coach Bill O'Brien believes he just signed WR Michael Thomas. Assuming that isn't the case, we can expect Thomas to find a role as a solid special teams contributor and backup in the secondary. He's played in 88 games for the Dolphins and Giants since 2013.

Here we go --- must be BB's fault

CBS Sports' ... reports "NFL teams are miffed about Tom Brady's interactions with staff members in Tampa despite restrictions."
... added, "They are anticipating some stern discipline from the NFL office. Many have conveyed their dismay to league officials." Brady made headlines after accidentally walking into a random house in the Tampa Bay area while attempting to find OC Byron Leftwich's residence. It remains to be seen what "stern discipline" will consist of, but it's hard to imagine anything resembling the form of suspension or loss of draft picks.

oh shit or is it two shitz

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports "among the players the Bengals like at No. 33 are TCU DT Ross Blocklock and Baylor WR Denzel Mims."
Blocklock seems like a more viable addition considering the Bengals already boast the likes of A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, John Ross and Auden Tate in the WR room. Meanwhile, this was a bottom-eight group of defensive linemen and linebackers in 2019. DE Carlos Dunlap (No. 5) and Geno Atkins (No. 20) were the only defenders to receive even moderately solid overall grades from PFF on the season.

The thing to remember is that there may well be QBs who go in this round and that will help us

Jacob Eason, Jake Fromm, Jalen Hurts could all go today at some point

Rumor

Colts are in trade talks for pick number 34

interesting - who would be going up that high and who would be thinking about that pick before the bengals have even selected at 33

would suggest maybe a QB if true? either that or one of the remaining tackles maybe... but who would give up capital to get there - the panthers?

Oh, I don't think the pick will be traded before the Bengals have made their pick, unless they are cool with two different players at that spot.

21 of my top 32 went last night which is about average for every year

only 6 of the 32 being out of my top 50 is rarer though

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this...Vinny on 105.7 suggested trading up for a OL, then hoping for Lavishka Shenault with our late.

...not a bad strategy imop
