2020 Baltimore Orioles

I think we have a pretty solid core group. Just need to start adding the star prospects to the team and we'll be a contender.

I do too and we still have guys to look forward too like Mountcastle and Y Diaz. I'm hoping Austin Hays comes around soon but right now I'm actually happy with every position which jeez I probally haven't said in 20 yrs lol.

I think the only thing we really need this year is a quality starting pitcher and maybe a good chris Davis along with our lineup. However I wouldnt be surprised if Elias keeps trading some guys for more prospects. Even though we're playing well this is still a rebuilding team rn. Just please dont trade Alberto please!

Orioles SHUT OUT the defending World Series Champions 11-0! O's sit at the 8th seed and the cut off point of the new playoffs for this year.

Orioles win the Series against the Nationals with a 5-3 win over the Nationals. Orioles move to 7-7 and back to .500 staying in the playoff hunt in this new 8 team format. Orioles face Stephen Strasburg tomorrow in his first start of the season for the Nats.

Orioles looking for the series sweep against the Phillies on Thursday. Orioles now move to 9-7 on the year and making some noise in a middle of a rebuild. If this is the team now, once the rebuild is complete then Orioles Magic will fully return to Baltimore.

Orioles bounce back after a terrible game last night. O's win 7-3, move to 12-8 on the year. Looking at the standings, it seems the AL will come down to the Athletics & Yankees, while the NL will be Dodgers or Cubs.

Interesting note about some of our pitchers that a friend put together.

Early season returns (FIP improvements from 2019 to 2020)

- Shawn Armstrong: 2019 - 4.28; 2020 - 3.14 (1.14 runs/9 improvement)
- Tanner Scott: 2019 - 4.77; 2020 - 2.26 (2.51 runs/9 improvement)
- Mychal Givens: 2019 - 4.50; 2020 - 1.89 (2.61 runs/9 improvement)
- Miguel Castro: 2019 - 4.73; 2020 - 3.95 (0.77 runs/9 improvement)
- Travis Lakins: 2019 - 3.64; 2020 - 1.84 (1.80 runs/9 improvement)
- Paul Fry: 2019 - 4.71; 2020 - 3.01 (1.80 runs/9 improvement)

Shows a lot of improvement, and I'm interested in seeing if they can keep it up over a longer period of time.

I really like how Tanner Scott has looked so far. Hes got the stuff just needs to be consistent enough with ball placement
