So just to be clear... we have given flacco all he needs? The FO and coaches are once again blameless and perfect and the players and fans are all pieces of shit?its pretty much more a case of not being able to utilize the help that has been brought in over the years rather then not bringing in help at all.
its pretty much a guaranteed that if the passing game sucks balls again , people will still cry about not bringing in help ignoring how pumped up they where when that same help was brought in before the season.
before the season: crabs is great and is going to help alot , just what flacco needs.
during the season: he sucks , why did we sign him.
after the season: we never bring in any help and only sign washed up players....
So just to be clear... we have given flacco all he needs? The FO and coaches are once again blameless and perfect and the players and fans are all pieces of shit?

i mean its a recurring theme with you, every fan except for you is wrong and everything goes wrong because "players dont execute".if that is what you want to believe then go ahead.
it aint my words nor believes so![]()

we have tried but certainly not tried enough, and have been morons with our efforts. maclin was a disappointment and nobody couldve known he was just done with football but they made an effort there, of course it was the same level of effort theyve always made by signing an older wr short term which clearly is never enough. looking at drafts past, its pretty obvious that their only real effort was a fucking stupid one. best thing they did for flacco was draft ronnie stanley, then they tried one band aid after another. they tried like albert haynesworth tried. they gave shit efforts to give him WRs, boldin, torrey, perriman, were the only real strong efforts to get flacco a wr, we traded one, let the other walk, and the third shouldnt have been drafted in the first place and everyone but our FO knew it.the only recurring theme is you generalization things and putting words in other people mouth.
i agree with plenty and i disagree with plenty.
i simply dont agree with you saying that the FO has not giving flacco what he needs.
hilariously you even dont agree with yourself.
i mean you started the maclin thread and all.
nothing but praise by you and quite a few here for the FO for bringing him in and giving flacco help and what not.
shit did not work out and its all of a sudden the FO never brought in help lol.

the ravens have been outdated in their approach and have only given half assed efforts to give flacco targets, sure, they gave efforts, but half assed ones.
at least you admit that we have tried.
thank you.
The Ravens have put bare minimum in and shockingly have gotten bare mininum out.
Yup during Flacco's career he's gotten the least help of any franchise QB in that span. The FO gave him quality surrounding talent once, we won that yearwe have tried but certainly not tried enough, and have been morons with our efforts. maclin was a disappointment and nobody couldve known he was just done with football but they made an effort there, of course it was the same level of effort theyve always made by signing an older wr short term which clearly is never enough. looking at drafts past, its pretty obvious that their only real effort was a fucking stupid one. best thing they did for flacco was draft ronnie stanley, then they tried one band aid after another. they tried like albert haynesworth tried. they gave shit efforts to give him WRs, boldin, torrey, perriman, were the only real strong efforts to get flacco a wr, we traded one, let the other walk, and the third shouldnt have been drafted in the first place and everyone but our FO knew it.

anything that supports this myth?
Lets look at the 8 Ravens drafts since Flacco. I'll focus on 1st 2 rounds as those are the building block players. 6 offensive players (Oher, KO, Stanley, Torrie, Perriman, MW) 10 defensive players.
I could go to 3 rounds and it won't improve (though it would make me ask if a 3rd round comp pick should be a 3rd or 4th round pick).
The Ravens built their offense with scraps from later and players who were cut from other teams (as in other teams reject pile). It is provable fact and I don't get how its up for debate.

How can you get it when you go by what only fits your argument?
Not to mention when you guys cant stick to your opinion.
I mean none of you where calling Maclin scraps or other teams reject pile last season.
He was the help you guys wanted and he was brought in which pretty destroys the myth that the FO does not get any help.
Heck i love how you think that only the draft is the way to bring in help neglecting FA and trades....
Plenty of trades made on offense and FA brought in.
Even that of the draft is a myth.
From 2008 till now we are actually tied in speding picks in round 1 or 2 on offense.
Not to mention its pretty much contracts handed out on offense that have been crippling our cap throughout the years.
The team has handed out contracts to keep players aboard on offense.
Made trades, signed FA and used the draft.
To say they have done nothing is just ignoring the facts.
They have done as much as they could.
Shit simply did not work out.
The draft is where you build your franchise for the future. I could have gone 3 rounds and it would have had the same ratio but I figured 2 rounds was better to show where the focus was and yes Maclin was scraps, Wallace was scraps, even SSS was scraps. Just because they had something left in the tank does not mean they were not rejects from another team.
Every year the Steelers seem to be picking another weapon for Ben despite the fact that they have so many and that is because they are focused on it. They give him a chance to be good because all a QB needs is a few good weapons to be good. People thought Eli was done 3 years ago then ODB came along, people thought Ben had lost it then he got Bell and Brown. Once a QB gets his tools he can look all pro.
Another case of believing in some myth and not checking for actual facts.
Steelers have spend 2 2nd round picks since flacco got drafted on skill position players: Juju and bell.
Ravens have spend a 1st and a 2nd on Perriman and Maxx in the same time span.
We have actually spend more going by facts.
Brown was a 6th round pick.
Ravens have spend plenty of late picks on skill position players.
Matter of fact they have spend more the steelers.
From 2009 till now:
Steelers 22 players
Ravens 27 players.
You count 2008 as well and its:
Steelers 24
Ravens 31 .
So this Steelers have done more crap can be put to rest.
The giants havent even spend 20 picks since 2008 on skill position players on offense.
BTW If you think tools are the only difference between flacco and all pro QBs like brady and brees then well there really isent much to discuss.
I like how you managed to use both hyperbolic nonsense about Brady and Brees who I didn't even mention in my post and change the argument to pretend late round are picks you build a franchise around. I cited Bell and Brown not as investing in higher round picks, but as an example of how a few good weapons can change a QB from being considered done to being considered a pro bowl QB again.
The main reason I used the Steelers is because they HAD weapons during that timespan, they were not sitting on a nothing WR core and yet they still keep pouring resources into it. The Ravens are sitting on nothing and by your own admission are investing the exact same amount. If you are investing the same amount into a position that you are weak at as a team that is strong at that position is, how are you going to improve it in any meaningful way.
