Like I said, come back when you can actually bring a coherent argument; not just call everything you dislike "fake news."OK, right. Thanks, I understand.
I’ll “come back” when I please, thank you, and point out the fake news as I see fit. Not because I dislike it, because “I understand”.Like I said, come back when you can actually bring a coherent argument; not just call everything you dislike "fake news."
Right, I understand. You'll never have anything useful to contribute to the topic and you'll continue to criticize all stats that point to Flacco being a problem because you don't like them.I’ll “come back” when I please, thank you, and point out the fake news as I see fit. I mean, yeah, did we really expect Hurst-Jensen-Skura (later Bowanko-Jensen-Skura) to hold up all night against Clowney? Give credit to the line, though, for making the necessary adjustments to nullify him in the second half. He's been on a tear lately and might be the best front seven player in the league currently.
Honestly, if I had a vote, Clowney would be my pick for DPoY. I don't really see someone who deserves it more.I mean clowney was still a wrecking ball in the run game in the 2nd half - we just tried to run it away from him - but he would blow up the backside of the play or get penetration/draw double teams that reduced the effectiveness of the play design from the other side of the play
And at linebacker he would pinball around our interior line in the backfield at will in the run
He is probably the premier run defender in the nfl right now and I’m not sure it’s close - he’s the “sexiest” run stuffing will get lol
But yes in the passing game I give the line and joe dallesandris a huge amount of credit
Yeah, it seemed most of the issues with Clowney were when he lined up at LB behind the line. He’s a quick and powerful dude and I would hate to face him with a healthy Watt in there with him.
I watched that sack over again (Clowney at ILB) and there was a good 2.7-3.0 seconds that Joe had to get rid of the ball and didn't. You can't hold the ball that long and not expect someone like Clowney to make a play.
Honestly, if I had a vote, Clowney would be my pick for DPoY. I don't really see someone who deserves it more.
Yes bobby wagner is playing incredible this yearJalen Ramsey would be a good contender as would Bobby Wagner (who under the radar is playing some of the best inside linebacker football I’ve seen for a while), so would Aaron Donald and fletcher cox and akiem hicks but yeah clowney should definitely be up there
“sad”? lol Your silly attacks are what is sad and I’m not sure you keep referencing “warnings” and such like there’s some sort of defense there for your fake news. People tend to complain when they are exposed, just like you are here. Means nothing to me. If you say dumb stuff you should expect that it will be called dumb. Call it a PSA if you will.Right, I understand. You'll never have anything useful to contribute to the topic and you'll continue to criticize all stats that point to Flacco being a problem because you don't like them.
Got it.
It really is sad when I have people complaining about you in DM's.
But in any case, try not to get warned again on Sunday. I know how you'll get if Joe plays poorly... again.

Top 10 line......what a hoot! Given all of the injuries and shuffling they have had to do they’ve done pretty well with what they have, but how ridiculous of statement is that!? Just like you said the Ravens have “an above average group of WRs”. LMAO! My pointing out the fake news has nothing to do with defending Joe, just calling out attempts to try to propose such preposterous thoughts. But I do know why you try though, I understand.
It doesn’t take fake news to see Flacco has played poorly and needs to raise his level of performance. You also don’t have to be a genius to watch and understand that those around him have often played poorly as well. Trying to rationalize otherwise using “stats” is very silly and telling. There’s really no need to “discuss” any further.
He got doubled by Hurst and Jensen and they held that block for a good bit of time before he muscled his way in there.I’ll have to rewatch the play of course but I think the cleanness of the penetration was paralysing and it was straight through the middle obviously in that one case I can imagine being overcome by the rush although given where clowney rushed from he shouldn’t really have been surprised that he was coming
The fact that you have no basis for your arguments except calling it fake news and saying you watched is what makes you insufferable and why people complain about you in DM's. Yes, it is really sad and pitiful that people complain about you. You really want that reputation?“sad”? lol Your silly attacks are what is sad and I’m not sure you keep referencing “warnings” and such like there’s some sort of defense there for your fake news. Any link or statistic you provide is fake news, just so you know.https://russellstreetreport.com/2017/11/29/lombardis-way/joe-flacco-2017/
They speak on the OL. And watching games you can see they have improved and have given Joe ample time, where he either usually
A. checks down
B. over throws
C. the rare pass that hits a wr and they drop it
Stats and eye test show Joe flat out sucks.

I tried searching for something he's doing well. Nada. If you can, please share.
Keep trying to rationalize his poor play though. It's hard to catch the ball when it's usually not thrown in your catch radius or you're being lead into traffic. Or it's being thrown behind the LOS with a man draped over you. Let's not act like these are new things. The man has never been great at hitting guys in stride consistently outside of that stretch in 12. A big arm is great but with no touch it means nothing. Any other position playing this bad most likely gets replaced, but I understand why it won't happen here.
There's always going to be several contenders, but I think Clowney is the best bet at this time. I'd put Donald and Wagner behind him. Maybe Bosa and Campbell.Jalen Ramsey would be a good contender as would Bobby Wagner (who under the radar is playing some of the best inside linebacker football I’ve seen for a while), so would Aaron Donald and fletcher cox and akiem hicks but yeah clowney should definitely be up there

The thing with saying you "watched the games" is that your memory betrays you more often than not. You remember what you want to, not what actually happened.
Just so we're clear for anyone who reads this.
The Ravens were excellent in pass pro against the Texans. On probably 1/3 of the drop backs, Flacco had at least three seconds to throw and on even the quicker throws, the pocket was so clean it was pretty remarkable. I haven't seen the line play that well since Oakland.
However, Tank has it in his mind that the play calling is calling quick plays to protect bad pass protection and that the offensive line is bad because it has a few shuffled players. Tank then reads an article that says Clowney wrecked the Ravens, so this reinforces his belief that the line is bad. Therefore, Tank will remember the line as being bad against the Texans and he'll say what he saw was bad offensive line play.
Realistically, he can't remember all 36 drop backs or even half, but because he has a predetermined notion on the subject, he's going to remember it in such a way that he wants to. There's the broadcast readily available to be watched, but he won't watch it over because 1. He doesn't want to be wrong because 2. He remembers what he saw already (he doesn't).
But remember, this is just fake news... even though it's well documented in the world of psychology. But this is what's wrong with claiming "the eye test" or saying, "I watched it, so I remember it." It's important to watch it over again to confirm things in your mind.
I think it was @NYSE5 who posted that there will still be people 15 years after Flacco retires that will sit on a Ravens forum and say, "Flacco will get better when he gets better weapons and a better coordinator."He is just trolling lol.
He will jump ship as soon as the flacco era is over.
Which seems to be getting closer and closer.......
Realistically, the supporting cast hasn't been great and it can affect those numbers, but to be placed last in two of those major categories goes well beyond the supporting cast and is an issue of Joe himself, not just the team surrounding him.I'll bet though
