I'm a Flacco guy but the point of this is that he's not totally infalliable. Flacco is who he is, a guy who can win you a ring if you have the right pieces around him.. Even with that he's going to have games where there are just absolute shit shows. The Browns game is a prime example. As shit as Crabtree was, and he was terrible, Flacco was pretty bad too.
That said, to be fair, while we
do have the talent around him.... We aren't using it right in certain cases, namely the oline where we have a passable LG and a good RT and both would vastly improve the run game, but because of Harbaugh's complete and total fear of playing rookies unless he absolutely has too. The backs aren't world beaters, but they're good enough, and this offensive line does them no favors, and forces the dude to throw 50 times a game. The WRs(yes, even Crabtree... He'll get his shit together eventually...
@Tank. Seriously throwing him under the bus for some of Flacco's errors such as bad throws is really getting old) are fine, we have a plethora of TEs, and the backs are good enough... The oline has the personel avaliable.
But then we'll get the "he was never good" crowd.
Point is. It's one week. People need to chill the fuck out. We still have a winning record and our season is still far from over.
