Almost sounds like a fake... this was the only way except a lawsuit that the Browns can get out of the cap hit (due to the insurance) and Happy Endings doesn't even have to play to get fully paid. And neither side has to be embarrased by his on-field performace.
That said, I don't really think they faked it, but it is almost too good to be true

He's a hybrid. Played nearly half the season effectively as a slot corner/safety hybrid. That plus lack of turnovers will be used against him.

Players, coaches and the media (gradually) know who he is. Just not sure the way he plays and his versatility will ever get him the "awards" he's earned.
