From what I understand of Pees' role, he doesn't have much of a say in anything. He's got a cushy office job where he sits in meetings with the players to consult, and works with Zach 1-on-1. On game days, he's in the booth communicating what he sees from his view.And this is the only reason reason I haven't said that.
I remember a Ro interview in the offseason when asked about the defense. He gave an answer that didn't seem genuine. The defense was one of my concerns coming into the season so played it as bias. Still could be that but he didn't look confident in it. All these guys didn't just regress.
Seen a post that the defense had somehow gotten worse since Pees return.
It may have gotten worse but I would be surprised if it's correlated.
