The Random Thought Thread

lol, fair enough. I like the change of seasons and don't want to deal with the hurricanes in Florida either. I also like the museums the DC area has to offer, but that's not for everyone. Any idea where you would like to go in Florida?
Don’t know, never been lol but from looking at housing and job markets I think the St. Petersburg and Tampa area sounds like a choice, and the east coast north of the Miami area as well.

Right now though it’s all dreams and wishes lol, I don’t see a real path there for at least a decade

My parents keep looking for a place in Florida, basically a retirement home. I've always said I would never move to Florjda because of it being too hot.

Slowly, I'm warming up to the idea of moving to the Tampa area. By slowly, I mean likely next year lol.

Why Tampa?

Family in the area for one and number two, even though they have Busch Gardens, I don't want to be anywhere near Disney, Orlando area. Also if there is a chance of Tom Brady walking into my house, I'll take it lol.
that was a really funny story

The Tampa Bay area is awesome. The Pinellas beaches are stunning and about a five minute drive from my front door. It does get fuggin hot though for a couple months in the summer but the rest of the year is comfortable and the winter time is to die for. I'll go fly somewhere if I want to see snow or freeze my ass off. I'm on the St Petersburg side and that little city is amazing. With that said, dont come here. We're full lol.

You get used to the heat quickly. I also just came from Okinawa which is essentially Florida of Asia but eh i still don’t think it’s to bad down here. Just get a house with a pool or a neighborhood with a nice community pool

I’m heading to the Rays/ Os game next week, any suggestions for spots to check out in St Pete?

lots of great art galleries and amazing architecture. The Hermitage and Catherines Palace are my favorites. Oh wait, you're talking Florida, not Russia.
