The Random Thought Thread

no, I'd rather have Stanley over Ramsey. If we drafted Ramsey in 2016 we wouldn't have come back and drafted Humphrey in 2017. Now Bosa and Stanley provides a bigger argument.

Me too! But some may differ, which is why I said “possibly”. I just think as good as Bosa is now, he would’ve learned a shit ton from Suggs and Wink

Considering that we have seen what good OLine play does for a young QB (both the Bills and the Browns excel in this area), having Stanley is probably the single most important non QB draft pick the Ravens have made in the past 10 years. Good OLine play means QB has time to go through his reads. Josh Allen is slow, but that is okay because he has time. Baker Mayfield is mediocre but that is okay because he has time. Even if we do not look at Lamar, because obviously our views would be tainted, we can see what great OLine play does and Stanley is the key to having a great OLine.

Agree with everything here, but Josh Allen is most definitely not slow lol…

I do not mean as a runner, I mean his reads ( I probably should have clarified that). He can obviously get out of the pocket and make plays with his feet but if he is going to find the open receiver he needs time to go through his progressions.

Eh… I would put Bosa above him honestly. Possibly Ramsey too. Definitely not Zeke though.
I’m taking Stanley all day. I’m an OL guy, I acknowledge that it’s boring to address, still I want OL. Your offense becomes unwatchable with a bad OL.

I know the pandemic is still going on but 7 million people find enjoyment with the HOF game? I was bored by halftime when I was at the HOF game in 2018.

What the hell is going on with Mims?

Evidently doesn’t fit their scheme.
Sh!t send a late rounder and cut Miles. Hollywood, Bateman, Watkins, Wallace, Duv, Proche, Mims. Fuck it, carry seven.

i know we're fairly stacked at this point at WR but yes please...
You read my mind lol. Is it feasible to carry 7 WRs? I’m starting to think Proche is a lock and so is Duv and Wallace obviously. But you’d have to cut Miles to make room for Mims

7 WRs on a run first, defensive minded team? Hell nah

it's not at all on the cards - but would instantly settle the blocking argument for boykin staying on the team - mims was a nasty, dominant blocker in college

I was going team by team throughout the NFL this weekend and I can't remember a time in history where there were as many good to elite QBs in the league. Thoughts?
