Lol its not fair. Never made sense to me tbh and still dont. Pat, russ and aaron should be no debate. Arod is and was arod last year. Offense was just bad. Its fine to say who had better season but to actually believe, which people did ...that anyone outside of russ and pat is better than rodgers is straight outrageous imo. I mean people even had rodgers not making the offs.In league with mahomes, Russ, and 2019s version of Lamar Jackson, it’s fair to have Rodgers outside of the top 3
Ain't this a [profanity deleted]......
That really doesn't make sense though. If he gets injured and misses time, that would arguably make his price tag cheaper, given the injury concerns. His value would only go up if his replacement were horrible, which would probably be true long term of anybody.Given the FO couldn't get a deal done with Ronnie I wonder they held him back this week to see what they have with Zeus Jr at LR at least as a contingency.
In 2019 Lamar was better than anyone in this conversation, to put Rodgers over him in 2019 is putting the past over the present and future.Lol its not fair. Never made sense to me tbh and still dont. Rodgers didn't just have one season of mediocrity. Its been a few years. Here's how he ranked:Lol its not fair. Never made sense to me tbh and still dont. Pat, russ and aaron should be no debate. Considering we’re 31st in passing, I’m a bit concerned. Lamar has missed some throws but Romans passing scheme isn’t the same as it was last season. We’re trying to attack deep way too often.I think it's a good sign as well and Roman will figure out the running game. That being said the rushing numbers are misleading.
part of it is putting stuff on film and getting reps in, even if it doesn't work out rn. It gives other teams to think about before they instinctively put 8 or 9 in the box. I'd rather us experiment against the redskins than a good teamConsidering we’re 31st in passing, I’m a bit concerned. Because we pretty much have to. We don't have the kind of players who can make an impact in the intermediate. We're great in the middle of the field, we're great on YAC when you put the ball in their hands quickly, and we should be (but aren't) great deep. Our intermediate passing game is largely non-existent, and its amplified in tight games or when we're trailing.Considering we’re 31st in passing, I’m a bit concerned. Ummmmmmmmm please tell me this is a troll post. Queen is in RDPOY conversations, Duv looks extremely promising, especially in the return game, JK is doing what’s asked of him (he’ll more than likely be the lead back next year) and we have a rookie starting on the offensive line. With all due respect, what the fuck are you talking about?4 weeks in and the Ravens 2020 draft class seems very bad. We’ll see how they progress.
We have to take deep shots even though we’re bad at passing deep? That doesn’t make any sense. 31st in passing yards through 4 games is awful. SureBecause we pretty much have to. Please watch the all-22 tape on Queen and get back to me. Same on Tyre Phillips. Just because they’re starting doesn’t mean they’re playing wellUmmmmmmmmm please tell me this is a troll post. I certainly don't think it looks "bad". That's not accurate.Ummmmmmmmm please tell me this is a troll post. How many games do you want me to watch? Just the most recent one, which seems to be what you're referencing, or all of them?We have to take deep shots even though we’re bad at passing deep? That doesn’t make any sense. 31st in passing yards through 4 games is awful. Sure

And yes, we have to take deep shots because we're not any good at attacking the intermediate level. I don't really care where we "rank" in passing yards... that has no context whatsoever. We're 31st in passing yards because Lamar is 28th in pass attempts. Why would we have a bunch of yards if we throw a lot less than everybody else? Logically, we wouldn't. A lot of the top 10 in passing yards are QBs who play for bad teams. Coincidence? Not really. We have to take deep shots even though we’re bad at passing deep? Growing pains with Queen. He’s looking great so far minus the Chiefs game in just his third NFL start. Let’s not expect a rookie taken late in the first without minicamp and OTAs to come in and be Ray Lewis. To call them “very bad” is just an asinine statement in my opinion. Please watch the all-22 tape on Queen and get back to me. Same on Tyre Phillips. I’ll be livid if we let Ronnie walk or even trade him. I hope he’s a Raven for life.
With Dobbins, I blame the play calling. Roman is committed to a RBBC instead of rolling with the hot hand. Didn’t Dobbins rip off two 20+ yard runs against the Texans? He looks promising to me. Ingram doesn’t look like he has much left in the tank. It should be Gus and Dobbins. Rice wasn’t impressive as a rookie but started to become dominant his second season. JK looks absolutely fine to me.I certainly don't think it looks "bad". That's not accurate.
Queen's been pretty good. Duvernay has made some explosive plays, and Dobbins and Phillips are coming along.
That being said, there's a couple things I'd point out:
1. Madubuike has been hurt. Can't judge his performance when he's not available to play. But can't call it a good or even average pick when he's not contributing.
2. Obviously Bredeson, Washington, Proche and Stone have made minimal contributions. They're not playing much, if at all, and aren't making any real impact when they are.
So through a whopping 4 games (a laughably small sample size), you've basically got two starters who are playing well (Queen and Phillips), a trio of situational role players (Dobbins, Duvernay, Harrison), and then about five other guys who are making very little or no impact.
That's not a bad class, but its not a world-beating class either. To be blunt, I had higher expectations for Dobbins, Duvernay, and Harrison early on. Those guys aren't competing with world-beaters for playing time, and I would have expected them to seize more significant roles in their units by this point. Now, lack of a more aggressive preseason probably hurt their causes, but the jury's still out on their long term impact.
Certainly not a bad class by any stretch though.
