I agree with you on this lol. I havent even looked at many prospects but i feel like qbs and cbs will be kinda bad. All the cbs that were said to be good, ive seen get killed this yr in games and i havrnt watched any tape since
 
Im convinced we are going Wr in fa. No rookie wr is putting us in a position to win the SB regardless of who it is. We are better off with a vet whose gonna help these young guys.
 


my god - lol - we went 14-2 last year and lost no one yet this year it's now like 7 guys lol what????

not only are we losing positional coaches we're losing assistants too - think we're gonna have to hire at least a couple of coaching analysts/quality control guys to fill out the bottom of the positional staff because the cupboard's basically bare there now

we currently have no WR coach and no offensive assistants other than craig ver steeg (RBs but basically just an assistant wherever we want him to be lol - he's done QBs, OL, quality control, general offensive assistant stuff) and richard angulo (assistant OL)

and on defence we've got all the main positional roles filled but we've got no assistants at all on staff except for 1 guy in the analytics department who's only been around for a year

we've got to fill out this staff a bit lol

sizzle - potentially 4 HOFers if suggs can make it (and he's got a chance)
joe was amazing for us but he's not someone who transcends the Ravens whereas Suggs probably does

then again you can't tell the story of the Ravens without Joe (and you probably can with Suggs although it would be tricky)

Gotta go with Joe. Love Suggs but Flacco solidified this team after years of terrible QB play. Without him this team isn’t competitive

Yeah, if I had to absolutely choose then it would be Sizzle for the HoF-worthy career, but we don't win that SB without Joe's magical run.

i want it to be Sizzle but the more i think about it the more it probably is Joe

JO was the first Raven pick and a HOFer
Ray was THE Raven, won 2 superbowls and was the superbowl MVP of maybe the greatest defence in NFL History in that first one (and rode into the sunset on the 2nd one)
Reed was the best safety in NFL history and you can't really tell the rivalry of the Ravens and Patriots without him

if I'm honest - Suggs is an exceptional Ravens and the organisational all-time sack-leader etc. - he did win Defensive player of the year once and he is top 10 in the league in all time sacks

but... you can tell the story of the Ravens without him

you can't tell the story of the Ravens without Joe because the 2nd superbowl was all about Joe - he had a run that has never been matched (and maybe never will be)

we'll see what happens with Lamar but if he continues on the trajectory he's on he might become the obvious 4th guy

we're in the 3rd Ravens era right now - the Ray era, the Joe era and now the Lamar era
