The Random Thought Thread

Vernon Hargraves just got cut, seems hes an injury bust with only 2 interceptions. He was a pretty popular name amongst fans during the 2016 draft, Im glad we went with Stanley.

I havent always given Stanley the credit he deaerves but this year hes been the best LT in the league and Im glad to eat crow.
Stanley was an excellent pick. I really thought he would be a good pass protector because I liked his quick foot movement. I knew he would be decent and he is really good!

He really was a great pick, id hate to think what kind of LT situation we would be in now if we had gone another direction.

I remember there being some fans that really wanted Tunsil over Stanley. Both are good players, but we definitely got the better one.

Tunsil is also having a career year and Brian Baldinger says hes the best LT in the league, thats subjective but even if its true Ronnie is right there with him and objectively the best at pass pro. Tunsil is the better athlete and has quicker footwork but Stanley has a longer frame and better positioning.

are you sure he still thinks that - he said that after like week 2/3 maybe (cant remember exactly) but ive not seen him say that recently

Very nice.

We always harp on about disrespect and the hate everybody has for us and beg them to stop giving us praise. From now on, I'll stop doing that and appreciate what was 100% deserved.

howabout the disrespect Harbaugh gets from its own fanbase. He deserves a massive amount of credit.

I don’t know if many other members feel this way, but I feel that there is something special going on with this team right now that I can’t quite describe. I wouldn’t say the team is cocky, but they seem like they really have each other’s backs and are playing with a healthy confident winning attitude. They all seem to be getting along with each other and enjoy a special kind of comradery. I really noticed it a few games ago when Skura did not hike the ball and Lamar was upset and then went over to him and patted him on the helmet to let him know it was all good. Then It really jumped out at me when Lamar came to the sideline and told Harbaugh he wanted to go for it on fourth down and Harbaugh said okay you got it. These players and coaches are showing me something special here. I have always loved the Ravens but I am so proud of this team right now and what they are doing. Yes, no doubt about it.....trust me, something special is happening with this team.

Yep, it's obvious. And doesn't matter what happens this season, next year, if we can stay healthy, nobody is taking Lombardi from us.

i think we've got very used to having expectations underpinned by a sinking feeling that we would never actually reach those summits again - what's happening this year is we're finally coming into games as an actual heavyweight rather than an above average team and so the perspective is different, we can bully teams and we can throw our weight around and we get to go into big games with more than just a faint hope we'll win
