First thought lol97th?
Theres been 53 Superbowls with even less winning teams yet apparently theres almost 100 teams that were better
think we win pretty easily at home against them, their defense is horrible especially now that watt is done for the year.. as long as we contain deshaun we win that game by 2 scores fairly easyHow do you all think we're going to do against Houston. I think that's a tough game.
I could see us losing tomorrow, against the Texans, Niners, Bills, Rams, Browns, and yes the Steelers. Not saying we would lose all of them, but I think in order for us to win the division, we have to go no worse than 10-6.I really don't see us doing worse than 12-4

Funny part? I don't drink at all. With the way we're playing, we should go 11-5 fo sho, but it's any given Sunday.....that's all.Clearly, you had one too many

I’d say too that RGIII also seemed more frail than Lamar. The difference in agility is key because Lamar either gets out of bounds, gets down or uses his agility to elude the big hit.exactly. My friends who are skins fans say he reminds them of RG3, but RG3 didn't have great agility, just great speed and of course he didn't know how to avoid a hit or read a defense. His vision is nowhere near as good as LJ's.
The Haloti Ngata game wasn't the injury that derailed his career, although it was the start. He had a minor LCL grade 1 from that injury and missed a game, although he probably should have been out two games. He was fine the playoffs he was was running around like nothing happened until at the end of the first quarter was pushed out of bounds and seemed to have reinjured the LCL. It was in the 4th quarter that he tore his ACL in the playoffs.I’d say too that RGIII also seemed more frail than Lamar. In the end who knows how long RGIII would have lasted had he not dove forward with Haloti bearing down on him. That was a costly mistake
I agree I think we avoid OL in FA but I think we invest in a high draft pick at OG. FA will be about pass rush first and foremosti dont think we're going to be signing a free agent OL because the price is always extortionate vs actual value to the team - i think the idea will be that we have all 5 starters returning (+ all the backups) and then we add a piece in the draft and see what happens + patrick mekari and ben powers will have had a whole year to develop and we've been pretty decent at developing OL from low picks/red-shirts to starting calibre players - wagner, jensen, skura, lewis, bozeman
obviously id love it if we added a major talent at IOL in free agency as long as it was a good price but i think that's unrealistic so i turn to the draft and we normally take at least 1 OL a year in the draft - just the round we pick them in changes - if we can grab one on day 2 i think that's probably a nice place to grab one
I know the rant in Mangini is old on the thread but I’ve been away for a few days and when I saw what he and his whole panel said it pissed me off big time.Mangini was a terrible coach so no surprise that he's a terrible analyst. We have an historic offense right now so let the haters keep looking stupid.

Typical talking head bullshit. You take a hard line stance on someone and then completely ignore reality and defend your position. So many others who made similar predictions on Lamar have since admitted misreading the situation and just failing to recognize how special a player Lamar is.
The longer Mancini clings to his narrative of what Lamar is (I mean does he see his play or does he read his stat line) the bigger a fool he makes himself. Again I agree his game is not sustainable... he will not be running like this when he’s 30. How about we enjoy the amazing (or should I say impressive) show Lamar is putting on now.
The disrespect so real. Were not acknowledged... that's cool though... the league feels our presence.
On that note, number crunchers are having a field day
Harbaugh was guilty when it comes to coordinator selection and refusal to act earlier when it was clear it's not working. He's really adjusted along the way. I feel kinda of bad about all the Harbaugh slander in the past... kinda. This too is a problem with a lot of FOs. They dont give a guy time to build his roster and try to change the culture. That and our owner knows to mind his damn business.
