You already know the next night game is gonna be in Cincy. Especially after young Ellen DeGeneres went on national TV and cried about it.

I guess it’s up to interpretation. Maybe a letdown compared to what other teams do but I think most went in with the expectation that the Ravens were never going that crazy. This is exactly what I was expecting and I think it’s a pretty major change for a team that has had the same concept since 1997.

I really like that they kept the unis classy, not like a billboard or something that makes the players look like cartoon characters. And finally get some matte finish helmets!
 
Matte Black Helmet is the star. I know matte black is an auto win but the red eyes pop nicely. Love the restraint on the glossy numbers (all glosssy on one, jus highlight on the others). The maryland flag leg stripes are neat. Plenty of minor detail updates but I'm not sure about those Bengals looking marks around the neck.

After sitting on it, the black is still by far the best, but those whites are so clean too. Purple gets 3rd. And I'm a color rush guy but even I can admit those are by far the worst in the collection and probably the only one I'd call a downgrade.

Only complaints I have is I think they tweaked the number font just a little too hard, and the home jerseys are pretty weak without the gold trim, instead of the pattern of white-iridescent-black for the home numbers, they shoulda went white-iridescent-gold, it would’ve seriously popped

I’m giving white by far the best. That mf is the prettiest jersey in the league, makes me wanna go nba style and wear white as the primary.

For me, I don't mind the exclusion of the gold. And for that reason, maybe that's why the color rush option has dropped for me. If we were going to drop the gold from everything else, that seemed like an opportunity to do a completely different alternate and rid yourself of that color altogether.

Color rush helmets still look fire with the all-whites though.

Purple is a color of royalty and a little bit of gold sets it tf off imo.

I didn’t like the SHADE of gold we had, I’m pretty sure it changed at some point and was lighter back when we won our first SB and they made it more mustardy, that home jersey woulda been crazy with a light metallic gold trim.

Do you remember those old early 2000s fan jerseys that were white with the light gold shoulder plates? That’s the shade of gold I’m talking about.

and it took 15 tries per Zrebiec. The helmets took even more.

my only criticism is that i liked the old gold outlines on the numbers and i'm sad to see them go
everything else seems cool

in general seems a lot less of a change than i was expecting

i mean fundamentally why would the league not put the bengals and ravens in primetime again... those games deliver basically every single time
