The Random Thought Thread

Didnt we agree a few posts later that they would lose 1 of those 4? Ravens lost to Raiders and Browns and I would not be surprised if the Chiefs lose one of their easy games.

The reason your post was and is idiotic was it relies on the fantasy that playoff teams are inferior to non playoff teams. Its been 22 years since the divisional realignment and every piece of data says you are wrong about that, but sure a single data point overrides 20+ years of data because that is how numbers work. Wake me when they actually split those 4 but they wont because the other are not road Thursday night games in bad weather (fun fact Tomlin has one of the worst TNF records in the NFL).

Idiotic? A little salty there, aren't we? lol No reason for personal attacks professor.

I said nothing about "playoff vs. non playoff" teams, that was something you brought up to ignore my point. Nor did I agree "they would lose 1 of those 4", not sure where that comes from. What I said was that division opponents are generally some of the toughest matchups on a team's schedule regardless of each team's record. That's something most would consider factual, not a fantasy.

So I certainly can't see Steelers being swept by Bengals. In fact, I think they'll sweep them, just because its such a terrible matchup for Cincinnati. Cleveland has a good defense and can at least mildly run the ball. Bengals can't. Pittsburgh's Dline is going to feast on a bad Bengals Oline.

I think Ravens are going to win the division, but Steelers going 9-8 is a major stretch. I think they'll still win 10 or 11 games.
I can but more likely a split, because I think the Bengals will win this one coming off their bye with a shot at the playoffs still alive at home. I’m debating going to that game since we play at 4 that day

Man you are a glutton for punishment
Last two playoff games in Baltimore I made the trip for were the 2006 and last years chiefs game, those were miserable trips back. If we lose to the Steelers yea it sucks, but it’s not the playoffs at least. I did go to the Super Bowl so it’s not all been playoff losses, was also at the 2000 Denver playoff game. Thank fuck I decided not to go to the Bengal playoff game , not sure I could have handled that Huntley play

You were at the Denver wild card game? I didn't see you. lol
That was a cold ass windy day. At least the sun was out, and best of all we won!

Domes have completely changed the game, and IMO not in a good way.
I say we kick Cleveland out of the AFC North when they build their fancy dome stadium. In fact, can we ban domes from being a thing in Football? More games like Thursday please.

Y'all just don't understand dome culture lol. I LOVE indoor stadiums, reguardless of sport. Not having to deal with the weather as a fan is phenomenal and the product in the field is more enjoyable.

Great for spectator comfort; not as bad for baseball, but terrible for football.
To each his own, but for me domes remove multiple layers of talent, skill and fortitude from the game.
