3. Marshawn Lynch (59.3%)
...
40. Doug Martin (81.3%)

Lol. Now if someone can go through this board stats and count how many times have I complained about that same thing, I'd appreciate it.just want to put this slightly horrifying stat about buck in the open:

85.6% !!! That is almost always.
Agree. I’m always pissed when they have him as a short yardage back. I get that he’s a better receiving back, but hand the ball off to Collins. He will make short yardage the majority of the time, even if the defense keys in on him.anyone who was arguing that his load should not decrease with the return of woodhead and the emergence of collins needs to take another look - he literally takes only what the line blocks for him or the scheme opens up for him nothing more... we shouldnt have a use for that lack of elusiveness/power given that we use him as a short yardage back

Yep, looking forward to him returning, is he supposed to play this week?i mean he's a better receiving back in the sense that he's a pretty natural catcher - but he still doesnt get much yac which is why woodhead returning will probably (hopefully) be the death knell for buck allen's large workload...

Lol our third down specialist too. And what happened to Doug Martin? he just fell off a cliff.
Nah. I picked him up in fantasy, that's what happened.Lol our third down specialist too. And what happened to Doug Martin? he just fell off a cliff.
Yes, they were but he was a favourite on our boards pre draft, lot of people were happy to wait for him to show something.i think the warning signs were there from the beginning - i dont think its ever a good sign if your 3rd down back happens to be the same player as your short yardage back but isnt a workhorse...
Kenneth Dixon is a very good running back. Dixon had the second most yards after contact last season and he was injured the first four games. Sure he has to stay out of trouble and be healthy, but he is a good running back. He and Collins would be a very good tandem. This team needs a youth injection of some sort. Seems like there is a big run on running backs in recent drafts. I think this team could definitely benefit from one. Seems like there have been a lot of good running backs coming out recently I think the team could start there.
I still view running back long term as a huge question mark. Whether it is injury or suspension, Dixon can't prove to play all 16 games. Collins is a one year wonder thus far. Hopefully they both work out long term but Collins is making me afraid of what happened with Forsett. 1 year wonder. He's young and has huge potential and I hope he continues and proves me wrong. But this team has tried to bank on some upcoming players that showed flashes like Bernard Pierce and that did not end up well.Kenneth Dixon is a very good running back.
