WR/RB Thread

I think some of us had him on our want list. But..... it never happens.
And some people didn’t want him at all. Many thought he was a bust in the making, it certainly helps having Big Ben as your qb and Bell as the RB and Antonio Brown on taking the double teams away from you.

There were a lot of critics to point at Juju, but one thing that kept all those critics at bay was that he was so competitive. He loves football and works so hard, and for every flaw he had he just made it all up with his mentality. I don't know how you can't love this guy, everyone who had seen his tape should have seen that he had something more that you want on your team.

One would have to believe that he was on our radar since we seem to value that mentality in our players. Unfortunately, he got picked earlier than expected and we never got the chance. So, basically just like any other WR that Ravens fans have their eyes on during a draft.

I wonder if we have any shot at signing Larry Fitz. He’s the exact kind of guy Flacco loves throwing too, a la Mason, Boldin and Smitty

I don't want fitz. Let's get a receiver who can put up prime fitz numbers but hasn't done so yet. As opposed to receivers that played one good year 4 yrs ago. Fans need to cool on blaming every coordinator that isn't an offensive genius. And acknowledge Ravens receivers are never very good. Name a ravens bust that went on to be a stud elsewhere?? Wallace at 30 played his best in yrs under Trestman and morninwheg. How many coordinators are gonna be scrapped cuz of ravens incompetence and strategy obtaining receivers?? Everybody wants the successful coordinator. Redskins fans couldn't wait to run Turner out of town. Billick was called an offensive guru. But was ridiculed for not producing an offense.

Who would you propose we get? Marquise Lee?

lol, Robinson, Marqise, Paul Richardson, even Jeff Janis. But preferably Robinson, Marqise Paul Richardson in that order. Maybe even trade for somebody like Tre McBride. Seattle has so many studs that are caught in a crowded unit of skilled draft picks and vets. Same with Jacksonville. You have NFL tape on these dudes!! And it won't break the bank to sign one. Scout them and decide who has best potential in ravens offense

Word is after selecting Bowser the FO zeroed in on Juju and Kupp, unfortunately neither was available.

The only guy out of that group that would be able to help us would be Robinson. The rest would be a waste of cap. We need an older veteran. I used to hate stopgaps, but I’m sick of banking on potential and being let down. Fitzgerald is a dream scenario for Flacco.

I am doing and was thinking the same thing bro! And, their WR's are catching all types of passes and making plays.

It is much easier to make tough catches and plays when you have some momentum going by catching some easy ones. Perriman in that offense would be schemed open, then what? Who's catching him AND taking him out at that size? Something we have NEVER seen bc if Perriman isn't diving for a badly thrown ball, he's being blasted trying to contort himself to make the catch lol

we have those receivers.

its simply a lack of excecution and a scheme that does not take advantage of them.

the west coast offense is a poor fit to the players we have and their strengths.

dumbest decision this team made and its what has kept us back offensively.

PS: steelers run same type of scheme as the pats.
I don't really disagree with that, but at the same time I do wonder what kind of offense would you prefer? Me personally, I'm getting so sick of these 1 or 2-yard flat routes.

Any WR’s that you guys would trade for before tomorrow’s deadline?

Allen Robinson would be awesome for us. Sadly, I think jags are going to franchise tag him, see how he comes back from the ACL
