WR/RB Thread

Yeah that's what it's looking like. Just seems kind fast, he was signed and cut in a few days. Must've been really bad

He might have picked up the playbook quicker which might have persuaded the coaches until he started doing all the things that made the bears drop him - I imagine he was cut for fumbles and stuff like that which was his problem with the bears

Just watched Alex Collins college tape and he looks like he could be an upgrade over T. West... He appears to have home-run/big play potential...

I liked him coming out and was surprised when they elevated Langford in stead earlier in the week even though Langford is probably better at receiving (from what I've seen)

I think I'd like to see Collins get the first crack after West over Buck.
i think buck takes over more of the woodhead role and they save him for more passing downs/put him in the backfield when they want the browns to think its a pass and collins can take some of his carries to keep him fresh

Y'all should not get too excited about Collins - he won't get significant number of carries any time soon.
Very good college back, with a nice power/speed combo for college game. However, that didn't seem to be enough speed for the pros, so he dropped some weight and I think lost a bit on the strength side.
If anything changes, I expect a lot more load for West, with Allen chipping in mostly on 3rd downs (if they think he can handle protection) and few runs from Collins here and there when West needs a breather.

I think I might start the Nick Chubb 2018 campaign.

Care to actually join up on a running back prospect for once?

Wtf is your problem? No scarbrough campaign for you? Color me shocked.

Guess I'll lead that one then. But I'm currently busy on the freeman campaign as well.

I'm a charter member on the "don't touch a RB until round 3 until you have a proven elite run blocking Oline club" which in heinsight really needs a shorter name.
