WR/RB Thread

Yeah I dont get it. Last time I saw him he was solid but he was not THAT great.
People were hyped because he was/is so much better than the previous backs (Forsett, Allen West). Can't deny that he wasn't exciting to watch. Dixon converted numerous 4th downs despite idiotic playcalls from marty and he did well as a receiving back

So did Alex Collins, he’s saved us a ton of times, and his best year is easily better then Dixon’s IMO but he can’t do anything to save this run game and neither will Dixon.

I don't get the infatuation with Dixon, he might be talented, but he's never healthy and is not going to save this run game. He's not that transandent of a player to do anything of that nature, even on the field he was a good player but I don't recall him being all that. At this point I just don't really care.

He is out of here

I dont think anyone thinks he's a great player but I do think we'd benefit from he being available.... too bad he never is.

Thanks to injury and suspensions, we will never know what he could have been.

I tell you one thing though, this front office prior to trying back into the first round to take Jackson has refused to take any risks.

If this is true, he needs to be outright released. I don’t know how many times a player needs to be suspended before it gets through their heads.

this is crazy - literally 2 weeks ago it was reported he was in the building, looking in shape and everything
and now the ravens are waiting on the league (likely waiting on an appeal) to see if they should bother wasting an I/R DTR spot on him - what's bizarre is that the suspension didnt come down mid-injury (which is weird)

its a shame because stylistically his running style would help us no matter the lack of production and availability issues

I’m going to wait and see what’s up with him but if it’s another suspension then cut this bum

I remember a lot of people wanted us to sign WR Meredith who signed with the Saints but man am I glad we didn’t. That dude has done absolutely nothing and was just placed on IR.

Yeah. If we can get Brown signed to a multiyear deal then we grabbed the perfect three for us.

and we got snead in part because the saints got meredith in stead...

I just hope his injury issues are behind him but he can ball. I’d definitely like to keep him.

Fair trade. Saints are fine they have Thomas anyway.

the saints are actually pretty thin at receiver with ted ginn and meredith on I/R - they had to sign dez bryant lol

First let's hope John Brown also wants to stay.

Yep. Snead was the much better signing of the two.

I'd love to keep Brown but I would like to get a #1 WR over the off-season, and I'd probably move on from Crabtree in the process. Outside of that I think Brown and Snead set.
