Not as great as it seems for us though. It's nice that Garrett's gone but Verse is so powerful and neither of our tackles is great against power.I think it was a great deal for both sides
Verse is a very good player but I'll take facing him over Garrett 12 times out of 10. Myles is just on a completely different level. Not as great as it seems for us though. It's nice that Garrett's gone but Verse is so powerful and neither of our tackles is great against power.
Well Garrett is more powerful so…Not as great as it seems for us though. It's nice that Garrett's gone but Verse is so powerful and neither of our tackles is great against power.
Its certainly okay for the Ravens this year. The problem is the Browns were not going to be good this year no matter what. They probably were not going to be good next year. By the time they were likely to be a real football team in 3 years, Garrett was likely not going to be elite anymore. The problem is that Verse will be though. This move helps make the Browns an actual problem in 3 years. Not as great as it seems for us though. I mean like all other trades of this caliber... it only works out for the Browns if they turn picks into quality players. Namely at QB. If they continue to whiff on QB, really doesn't matter how many picks they get, because they still won't be good. They've had a well above average roster for many years now, and had one of the best pass rushers in league history on their team. Never actually mattered much from a W/L perspective. Its certainly okay for the Ravens this year. The problem is the Browns were not going to be good this year no matter what. Even if they dont hit on the picks the team is better aligned then it was. The team's timeline and Garrett's timeline were not the same. The team is 3 years from being ready which better aligns with Verse then it does with Garrett. Now yes they of course need a QB but they are about to be exactly where they were right before they drafted Baker which is a scary thought because it means the Browns are close to mattering again.I mean like all other trades of this caliber... it only works out for the Browns if they turn picks into quality players. I mean the fact that the few times they do pick they hit homeruns would almost suggest they should covet them more than other teams but it does sort of work for them. Also considering Stafford only has a couple years left they should go all in now.I still remember all of you who were hating on rams years back when they first started trading away draft picks lol
He can't get past Mike Macdonald to get to the bowl.People celebrating not seeing him twice. I'd rather Garrett in Cleveland than having to see him in a bowl
Honestly it'd be funny to see Browns reacting to their one true star winning on another team as the Browns continue to suck. Maybe he'll even retire as a Ram rather than a Brown.People celebrating not seeing him twice. I'd rather Garrett in Cleveland than having to see him in a bowl
I dnt think hawks do as well with kubiak gone.He can't get past Mike Macdonald to get to the bowl.
Plus, he may infect the Rams with the clowns virus, who knows...
Jared verse is great but is this not a steal for the rams to only give up 1 1st rounder…?
Fleury spent years in that same school. If he's half decent play caller, they shouldn't miss Kubiak too much.I dnt think hawks do as well with kubiak gone.
They get a rusher in return who is worth more than most 1st round picks.Uh hold up, it just hit me. How the hell did we almost give up 2 Firsts for Maxx Crosby with a bad knee but a healthy Garrett only goes for 1?
It’s gonna be a late 1st rounder as well…
And not getting that 2nd rounder until 2028 lol
How is that the best offer the browns got?
Get 2 very late firsts and they both bust, or get a first and verse and only one is a bust because verse is a guaranteed studonly getting 1st is wild.
I get getting Verse back was probably the best deal Browns could get... but dang, I presumed it would have to take three 1st to acquire a generational talent like Myles Garrett. Browns only getting back one 1st (thats gonna be in the mid-20's). Crazy.
