Schedule Release 2026 Discussion

I'm looking at the Week 8 schedule here trying to figure out how Ravens/Bills is a 1PM game, don't get me wrong I'm happy it's not a primetime game but surely there must be other games in those slots that are way better..... right?

Thursday Night Football: Panthers @ Packers
Sunday Night Football: Eagles @ Commanders
Monday Night Football: Bears @ Seahawks

Uh.... sorry but Lamar Jackson vs Josh Allen is a way better prime time matchup than those three combined.

I know I may be too optimistic but even though it's Minter's first year, I think we'll be in the thick of the battle for the one seed this year. We are going to show that Harbaugh may have been holding the Ravens back from getting back to the Super Bowl. I think Minter and this staff corrects a lot of issues we had with Harbaugh and I think we could be on a similar path to Seattle and win a Super Bowl pretty quick in Minter's Head Coaching career.
 
I must be in the minority with how we view the last 4 games being division games. Assuming teams are still relatively healthy (never a certain), I fucking love it. Lemme see if this team is full of MEN or soyboy pussy ass beta male cucks.
 
Tom Brady returns to New England for the first time as a Broadcaster in Week 9 when the Patriots host the Packers. That should definitely be an interesting broadcast to say the least.

I think what everybody hates about it is those games are physical and it's almost impossible not to come out of that limping into playoffs.

I mean TNF usually gets the 5th or 6th best game at best. Meanwhile the SNF game is 2 big market teams in a rivalry division game (that will get ratings) and the MNF game is the reigning Super Bowl champions against a lot of people's sexy pick to go to the Super Bowl next year with the QB everyone wants to paint as the next face of the NFL.

I mean they gave away a very easy first 6 games so by consequence the last 10 are going to be rough (I dont know what the Bengals will be).

Most of the time an NFL schedule looks like its carved into 4-5 phases, this one feels like 3 big chunks.

1st 6 games look like cake (Dak prescott only established star Qb), but 4/6 of them are away from home. We will find out early if Minter's got his ducks in a row. I'm looking for the defense to come out of the gate swinging.

Next 6 games are a meat grinder, with the 2 home prime timers in the middle of it. This is where we find out if EDC has built a SB caliber roster. Lamar time.

Then the bye, followed by 5 gritty cold weather games v.s. tampa & the division. Here's where we find out if the team has regained it's toughness and identity. Let's see if Ledford, Ioane and Henry are clicking.

I still haven't found the courage to tell my wife the SB is on Valentine's Day. Every time I'm about to the words just kinda crack in my throat. Poor thing looks at me like an innocent fawn that doesn't know it's about to get shot, asking "what is it honey? Why the face?"

I can't do it man. I just can't.
