i expect him to

I don't want Pinter.my thought is that corey bullock is going to be 1 of the Cs - either the starter or the backup
the hope would be that bullock wins the job given he's been an ascending player across 2 offseasons now
pinter winning is probably the worst case - because he's a career depth guy while at least bullock and gwyn are younger guys
bullock has the advantage of having been in the building for 2 seasons
gwyn has the advantage of having been with ledford for 3 seasons
if Beerntsen or Dawkins come in and win the job then great
both those guys look like they have play-strength/power concerns that might be limiting their ceilings
my guess is it's going to be Bullock and Pinter
my hope is that it's Bullock and Gwyn/Beerntsen
Pinter at a $2.75M deal with $1.5M guaranteed feels like he's on the roster unless he shits the bed. May not be the starter but that seems like depth money to me. Would guess Beernsten, Dawkins, and Gwyn are all on the outside looking in as of now.I don't want Pinter.
I think one of Beernsten or Dawkins or Gwyn wins backup, Bullocks wins starter. One of those guys goes to PS unless we get poached.
You're saying that with the idea Bullock actually wins the job?Pinter at a $2.75M deal with $1.5M guaranteed feels like he's on the roster unless he shits the bed. Ugh, didn't realize we gave him that kind of deal. Yeah, I guess you're right in that circumstance.Pinter at a $2.75M deal with $1.5M guaranteed feels like he's on the roster unless he shits the bed. May not be the starter but that seems like depth money to me. Would guess Beernsten, Dawkins, and Gwyn are all on the outside looking in as of now.
I don't really know to be honest. I never got the impression they were high on Bullock as more than a depth option, but all of the options are depth options right now and he's probably got the highest upside. So making that assumption for now but I think he could very easily be pushed off of the roster at the same time. You're saying that with the idea Bullock actually wins the job?
Nope that was himWasn't he the guy completely insufferable in interviews both with teams and the public or am I thinking of another guy?
