When I went to the 23 draft in KC, the guy next to me literally spoiled the picks as Rodger was walking up! Unreal, you have to spoil it in real fucking time? Unbelievable stuff. He spoiled the first pick with the uncertainty (even tho slight) of CJ or Bryce young. Then spoiled the Texans trade so I got the hell away. Still angry about it

Draft in person was an unforgettable thing I'd recommend to anyone, especially if it's in a neat city. Would have loved to get to the Pittsburgh one this year tbh

This alone is why I had and STILL have zero interest in going to see the draft in-person.

Tim Williams
Arthur Brown
Terrence Brooks
Matt Elam
Timmy Jernigan
Breshad Perriman

It just goes to show that the draft is so difficult and even supposedly derisked players just totally flame out.

On the other side you have Tom Bradys and Puka Nacuas and Antonio Browns. This is what makes the draft fun.

As we get close, it's getting a bit frustrating that for a few years now because of covid and NIL the drafts have been pretty shit.

I thought Arthur Brown and Terrence Brooks were going to be the truth. Turns out the mental side of the game is important too. Who would have thunk?

Bro I wanted Tim Williams and Timmy Jernigan to work so bad lol

I’m already mentally preparing myself for EDC to draft Kenyon Sadiq.

I lowkey could see them trying to trade two 1sts to make a play for an edge rusher. Maxx trade falls through and you fallback to 2 years of Tre and a top edge in the draft.
Only guy we could trade up for is bain and idk if its worth trading the other first for. If it wasnt for tyson injuries, id love him. Different wr than what we normally have.

Don't think we need any spoilers for this....

- Ravens will Draft the next Great All Pro on either side of the Ball and help us win a Super Bowl.

- The Browns, Bengals & Steelers will all draft busts and we will once again Run The North!

I don’t know why you’re listing all these guys like they are busts. They still have time to figure it out and make it in the league

Watching college tape mental didn’t seem like a problem for Arthur brown
I agree, but it was in the league, so man they must have covered for him in college. I remember hearing that he just couldn’t pick up the playbook here.

Calling Jernigan a bust is kinda crazy honestly
He was servicable for sure. But you don't remember the hype of "I can't believe Jernigan slipped to the second round. He's an all pro talent, maybe even the best DL in the draft blah blah blah".

He didn't live up anywhere to the hype. And that's the only point I'm making. Every year I get so excited about the draft but the truth remains that even early round guys fizzle out a lot and no matter how times Mel Kiper tells you this late round guy could be a gem, overwhelmingly, he won't. Football is hard.

Right, I understand. He still made tens of millions and got a ring so I wouldn't call his carreer anything but a success but I get what you're saying.

James Proche was probably the last late round guy that I really got got on. "He's just under appreciated because he went to SMU. The production was insane. He doesn't drop a ball, he has glue for hands". Guy came here and struggled to even catch balls in practice
