But if you watched the game, virtually every completion was high percentage, short yardage, or to wide-open receivers. A number of his completions were not good throws, but balls his receivers went and got. There was not one pass he threw that was anything a starting qb in the NFL should throw.

Ok then

Wait.... what?

Other quarterbacks do this as well but Lamar gets criticism for it? Honestly people make up stuff on Lamar because they refuse to admit that is passing is a lot better than expected.

there is no question people are making stuff up, because I've never heard this criticism of other QBs. Normally they will say, he through the ball and let his WR go make the play. Many of his throws were put in a position only the TE/WR could catch the ball. Sometimes it looked high, but that is where it needed to be. Yes, there were some plays like the pass to Snead in the 1st quarter that was high, but it's not like no QB has ever done that in the history of the game.

ESPN has us ranked number two behind the Patriots who are still number one.

CBS has us ranked number one.

doesn't really bother me, but for the life of me, I have no idea what these guys are thinking about at ESPN. We destroyed the Pats a couple weeks ago on national TV and even the 37-20 doesn't represent how bad a beating it really was.

it's also clearly incorrect - he's making high difficulty throws and showing good execution on low difficulty throws - there were at least 3-4 throws in that game that only 2 or 3 qbs in the league can throw let alone would complete

yeah 2 turnovers that gifted them 10 points and basically a quarter of no huddle accounted for 17 of their 20 points and 7 of our points - was an absolute beat down

Nice of them not to mention his throws are placed where only the receiver can catch it but that's ok let them keep disrespecting.

ThatFranchiseGuy on YouTube, who is a scrub and most of his content is madden based, has us 4th, started us at 28th this season and absolutely refuses to acknowledge how wrong he was and is desperately holding out hope that essentially half the season has been a fluke and Lamar looks like trash so he can say “SEE THATS WHY I WOULDNT RANK THE RAVENS #1!!!”

Sometimes it seems rankers order by record more than they should just but also people just can’t bring themselves to bet against Brady and BB.

Deion as much as he likes Lamar still thinks Pats are favorites to go to SB because of that experience factor. I understand that thinking but fact is we’re playing better football right at this moment than anyone. Let’s hope we see it continue

I know we always want more respect for our team but to me its more fun just to whipass and watch them make excuses. Both SB runs were like that.

I get the Patriots and the 49ers. Who the hell is the other team?
