2026 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Anyone up for thirds, or their first seconds is now able to select their teams.

7 teams left. I'll take a 3rd if we need to but I want to give others the chance first.

So Rosters are not locked yet right?

They are locked. Thank goodness for that, since otherwise, the GMs that selected their teams would have been saddled with massive trades after having picked their teams just because they're waiting for the selections to finish.

You're right, we begun the draft last time on 1st and finished on the 6th. I'm currently working on adding the rosters now. Given that the drafting process could take several days, it might be best to get them penned down as soon as possible so that there aren't any major changes before the selections are over.

Alright, fellas. The Hub is officially fully updated. Took a good bit of legwork, but a few of the calculations were tweaked to streamline copying and pasting into it in future seasons. The moves that have happened since 7PM EST of the 3rd have all been factored out of the rosters and the figures. The numbers and rosters are locked and are permanent. You are now able to use it as your source for your SoF and all future calculations.

Please use *only* the starting calculations from the first page to fill out your SoFs. Additionally, use your team pages as the exclusive source of information regarding your current rosters and the players' salaries.

If there are any discrepancies, clear them with the council. I'm available to PM and will help as much as I can. You may find specifically that there are differences for RFAs and ERFAs. We're open to consider other credible sources if you bring them to us. Otherwise, you should have everything you need to get started and feel comfortable that all of the bases have been covered.

Everyone's SoF entries have now been updated. All that leaves now is the depth chart, and that's it. I will attempt to provide SoF access to pages based on memory, but I may or may not have to PM a few people in the event that I don't recognize their email address.

We will open up the trade and trade block threads at 7 PM EST, and from then on, you'll have free reign over your teams and can begin to make your moves!

I emailed you an excel file that has email addresses. This should have most email addresses

Have a quick question, so the Texans restructures of Derek Stingley Jr. and Jalen Pitre happened AFTER we had locked the rosters. To get under the salary cap, I wanted to do the same restructures so I have room to work with when it comes to free agency. Obviously, Spotrac shows their updated salary as of now after the restructures. When I looked at transactions, this is all I have to go off, so do I use the $20.38M & $7.78M in the calculations? Just want to be sure before I mess anything up.

Derek Stingley Jr.: Converted $20.38M of 2026 salary into signing bonus, adding 1 void-year, clearing $16.3M of cap with Houston (HOU)
Jalen Pitre: Converted $7.78 million of base salary into signing bonus, adding 2 void years, clearing $6.2M of cap with Houston (HOU)

you don't need to use spotrac. Use the computation hub @Truth created last year. You don't need any calculations anymore, it's figured out for you. https://purpleflock.com/threads/11580/

@RavensMania beat me to it. Only the numbers within The Hub are canonical. Any salaries or calculations gathered elsewhere would need immediate corrections.

I've just updated your post. DT Kurt Hinish wasn't on the roster, so he cannot be removed. The savings for Mario Edwards Jr. will be 4.5 Stars instead of 1. And I've plugged in the savings for both Stingley Jr. and Pitre.
