I kinda feel the same. Lots of strictly football based rationale behind other guys like kubiak and McDaniel, but if you’re talking about a guy who’s proven with X’s and O’s who also seems to be a guy you’d like to see leading your team, he’s got both more than the other guys.

He seems like the long term high ceiling pick

If anyone has doubts about Kliff Kingsbury potentially being our OC.... he was the OC for Washington when they went to the NFC Championship Game. Jayden Daniels as a rookie had 25 TDs to 9 Interceptions and over 3,568 yards passing. Daniels also had 891 yards rushing with 6 Touchdowns. So think what he could do with Lamar Jackson....
 
So as much as I was not totally feeling the Harbaugh tree hire, I have to admit that I was telling people behind the scenes that I felt like he was truly the best fit for the team. Seems like other guys might have higher highs at some points in their careers, but for where this team is now, this just made all of the sense in the world. I feel like Minter was one of the most “win now” ready guys
 
I was out at a comedy show tonight so catching up on a few texts…

Minter was 1 of the 2 favorites along with Kubiak. They liked Webb and Scheelhaase a lot too and wanted to give them a shot to come in and win the job, but always felt it was Minter or Kubiak. Once Vegas stepped up their efforts, the Ravens got it done. They pretty much knew Minter was going to be the guy yesterday, barring any of the other hopeful interviewees blowing them away.
