Oh dam i didnt know that. Shit with todd and steve picking.. they might as well let us fans get a chance at it
I mean he was a late third early fourth kinda guy and his type of WR is definitely a big need

Wouldn’t say Todd made the pick, if Todd heap had never met Lane in his life the pick would still make sense

Right, he didn't make the pick. If there were 2 or 3 similar guys they were looking at could be that Todd's endorsement set Lane apart from the others.

OK. “Touches the ball every play” is a common thought people use that comes from my baseball background describing the importance and criticality of having a good catcher. It’s obvious that there’s much more involved with his job other than catching(touching)the ball. Maybe it would have been better to say that the center’s performance is important to the success of each and every play, and it’s much harder to hide poor performance by him than it is for a guard.

that's just not true though in football
the center is often protected from 1v1 pass blocking situations because there are guards on both sides
one of the main reasons that Cs don't get paid as much as other OL (other than Linderbaum)

Partially true, as the center is also the "director" of the O line, reading defensive alignment and often communicating blocking assignments. It's the reason communication skills and intelligence are a high priority for the position. Plays into the idea that he’s important to each and every play.

that's what I do

btw, I wonder what the end of the year report card will be on coach Minter and Harbaugh in their respective cities.
Giants already lost two players to an Achilles injury for the season. Dart and Harbaugh political views are dividing the locker room and irritating guys like Nabers and Carter.

I initially thought that Harbaugh would raise the floor and the Giants would have a shot at the division. Then fizzle out in the playoffs like Roman did with the Ravens and Chargers. But now I’m not so sure success comes so easily there.

Ravens win the 1 seed...... 13-15 games and beat the defending Super Bowl Champions and their former coach in the Super Bowl. Don't think Harbaugh & the Giants will compare to that.

Second TE pick is already standing out.

Swear to god this shit never fkn fails

Though I’ll say one time we only drafted one TE and he was the franchise GOAT, so maybe we can avoid wasting a pick by drafting just one TE?
Waller was the 3rd TE drafted that season....unfortunately he wasn't great for us.

I’m excited as fuck about both Hibner and Cuevas. I think we hit on each
