Tampa ass
I'm making a list and when Minter turns him into 23 B Stephens, I wanna hear apologies.
Tampa ass
I mean idk about all that but he ass lmaoI mentioned him as a potential candidate for a leap and Joey laughed me off the boards....
I cried in the car
I wonder if the bears would be interested in a midseason trade to bring Bradbury here if Logan jones pans out quickly for them. I know they just signed him but then they drafted jones fairly high, probably not expecting him to be there, and Bradbury is up for a contract iirc and you got the Doyle-johnson connection so I feel like there’s gotta at least be a talk with them eventually. On the C front...
They are working the phones to see if any trades are out there but it's been quiet to this point. On the FA market, they'll continue to monitor Pocic's health but it sounds like he's not going to be in a place to factor early in the season, so it could be a thing they reevaluate later in the process.
Internally, Bullock is the favorite. They like Pinter and would be okay with him taking the role if he wins it, but his signing was always more of a depth thing. I can also confirm that they will be giving Jones and Vorhees reps, and they are intrigued by the latter if he takes to the position well. They recognize the extreme inconsistency and feels like some of the low lows could be hidden at C. I am very far from saying they are counting on him so please don't take it that way. But they do really believe in Ledford's ability to coach guys up and there are some experiments they're going to want to see out.
Otherwise, pretty quiet overall. Still monitoring a few positions - WR, OT, EDGE, S and K - but they're going to let the young guys play it out until they feel like it's the time to make a move, if they even do so. RE: S in particular, they feel like they have 10 CBs that could make this roster, so don't be surprised if a couple start moonlighting deep to add some versatility.
Yeah I don't know who all exactly they've checked in on but it's been a lot of "he's not available" responses. But as we know, all it takes is a good offer to make them change their minds. Just not sure they're going to be in the business of overpaying. But they're also not panicking. I don't think they see a super high ceiling in anyone on the roster currently but they believe they have a few functional options.I wonder if the bears would be interested in a midseason trade to bring Bradbury here if Logan jones pans out quickly for them. WHY IS THERE NO KICKER?On the C front...

Your current options are Graham Gano and Daniel Carlson. Gano has been injured for 3 years straight and Carlson has been inconsistent from 40+ the last 2 years. They're open to adding at some point but they feel much better about Loop than those guys as of now.WHY IS THERE NO KICKER?

At LB in particular, it does sound like Buchanan has had a super clean recovery to this point and they feel good about his progress. Should he hit any setbacks, I think they'd make a move there. But they feel good with their top 4 and then they have Jones and potentially DeLuca as STers.i hadnt considered vorhees as a C candidate but it would make sense if he's going to be depth at guard that he diversify his skillset and i could certainly see his deficiencies being minimised at C vs G as you reduce the space inside - Jones still feels like a OT to me but that might be me just continuing to cling onto what i thought of him as a draft pick
i dont love the idea of giving up draft capital for a C who we probably dont really want anyway - Garrett Bradbury could make sense as an option given the Bears just drafted Logan Jones who I dont see as a guy you would shift to G
glad to hear that Bullock is probably going to get the first shot - feels like he's earned a shot to at least start the offseason as the guy to beat
looking at the depth charts - it feels like the weakest positions in terms of depth are WR, S, LB and C - C and WR feel like positions where you can wait a bit to see how the guys in-house fare before you pull the ripcord and go find a vet... LB and S just don't have enough bodies right now with any chance of making the roster

At S, don't be surprised if Oruwariye makes the move back there. They loved his veteran presence in the DB room last year and he could be a Daryl Worley-esque type of guy.
WR definitely feels like you're banking on a lot of guys stepping up - Bateman returning to form, Tez taking the next step, and Sarratt and Lane being able to play off the bat.
There's gotta be a UDFAYour current options are Graham Gano and Daniel Carlson. Gano has been injured for 3 years straight and Carlson has been inconsistent from 40+ the last 2 years. They're open to adding at some point but they feel much better about Loop than those guys as of now.
It was not a very good K class. It was Smack and a bunch of nothing. There's gotta be a UDFA
Just don’t see how Njoku fits at this point. We’ve got 4 TEs. Would be very surprised to see us carry 5.I feel like Njoku or Diggs will be a Raven. They'll be patient and see where the need actually is, but this pass catching group is a guy short.
It'll test the dedication to rookie draft pick concept. If they sign Njoku, gotta imagine he's getting some guarantees to play this year. Which means one of the two TEs you drafted isn't making the 53 man, and I'm not sure they'd be able to sneak the cut through waivers either.Just don’t see how Njoku fits at this point. I like the Diggs fit if we’re looking at on the field only but the off the field doesn’t seem to match up.
Maybe a singer in a Rock n Roll band sends a tape this time...There's gotta be a UDFA

That's a bridge you cross when you get there, not preemptively. It's not Madden. An injury at either position would dictate it for them.
