On the jersey. Don't know if it's the numbers or other highlights or what exactly, but they're going for some modernization and shine.

feels like this could only go one of two ways

it's either going to be awesome

or it's going to ruin the aesthetic they've had going on

you almost have to go big, otherwise what's the point in changing at all...

I will say most new uniforms have been terrible. I’m holding out hope that they actually look good. I’ve wanted something different for awhile. But when I hear iridescent, I’m a little hesitant

They seem to be embracing that they play in a fuck ton of prime time games, because the iridescent certainly hits under the lights

I find it strange that the NFL hasn't yet adopted the concept of other sports changing their jersey designs every season. In soccer, you have three kits a year (home, away, and an extra one), plus special vintage and/or commemorative editions for certain events (sometimes for a fee, fans can even have their name or surname printed on them, for example). Nowadays, there's a huge collectible market for soccer jerseys.

If the Ravens want to enter the international market, they need a drastic change. The previous design looked too "old-fashioned." I like it, but it didn't generate any interest, even in an era where NFL jerseys are fashionable

I don’t see any scenario where Steve allows an ass uniform change. He’s not that kind of owner.

On the last point, I think they finally realized they have a marketable superstar in Lamar and they haven’t really fully capitalized on that. It’s dumb but merch sells and grows interest. No one cared too much about the Seahawks until they embraced a new era and now it’s so “them” despite being modern and out there at the time.

Tbf Seattle was the only team that did well on the Nike revamps for a very long time. Like that uniform was never poorly received and they fucking crushed the modern look

Oh for sure. More just saying that they embraced the change and modernization and now that’s their iconic look. Jerseys were flying off the shelves because they weren’t afraid to make a change.

Meanwhile, the Ravens haven’t had a new jersey since 2016 and that was only because the league made them do color rush. Otherwise, we’ve had the same general look since 1999

I think we’re gonna crush this. I have full faith in Steve bisciotti to rebrand. And hearing the rumors, it sounds like they’re doing exactly the kinda thing I’ve hoped we would do, purple and green are the absolute best colors to do iridescent, and if they’re doing that I think they’re already winning.

I always wanted to see something like a matte black helmet and a one tone chromed or iridescent purple logo with a red eye.

They've wasted years squandering Lamar's image.

Regarding jerseys, while there are many replicas here, the Ravens jersey is practically nonexistent. Patriots (Brady) jerseys dominate, followed by Cowboys, Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, Bengals, 49ers, Steelers, and to a lesser extent, Saints. Now, Dolphins (a product of Miami and Messi) are the most common. There are a few older Ravens editions, but not even Ray's

My Ravens journey started around 05-06 I have Suggs, Jackson, Reed and a ripped up Mosley.

Ngata or someone else first?
I may be biased in my opinion, but for me Ed and Haloti are must have if your into Ravens jerseys.

I’ve been hoping for matte/flat black helmets for years, but I’m more a fan of the present bird head logo than others. Not sure what to think about jersey design until I see it.

High school I had Ray, Ed, and Bart Scott, I rocked a ngata jersey all through my 20s and have worn the same Lamar jersey since 2018.

I’m definitely due for a new one especially with the new shit coming out. I’m irrationally excited about this
