So, to be clear, those three guys combined for like 130 yards, which isn't good. Their RBs and one TE had 150 yards. They were by far the biggest problem.

I cannot believe how badly he’s regressed since the trade, I hope to god it’s just the bad scheme but he is legitimately a liability out there

He looked great with Mike Macdonald. Then again, everyone looked great with him. I'm pretty sure my dead grandmother would look elite with Mike Macdonald calling defense for this team.

Roquan hasn't looked good since Mike left and he got paid. If he doesn't improve, he has to go. Personally, we are focusing on Kyle being the centerpiece of this team so embrace it. Beef up the DL to stop the run so the LBs can play easier and get rid of Roquan and pay your safeties since Eric loves those.

It would be nice to have a real DC. I'm still convinced our issue was Orr just didn't know what he was doing and listened to too many voices.

Part of me, the historical side sees it as hypocritical and disingenuous, but it is nice to hear the criticism we often voice from someone inside the NFL machine.

What plays was he talking about? I mean them calling a phantom kick leverage on us game 1 only to ignore it on the game winner is something only the Steelers would get

We all noticed that but the reason, I think, is less obvious. From first glance people say he’s just dumb but I don’t think it’s that at all. What I see instead is anxiety.

I think Roquan gets anxious because of missed tackles. Go back and watch this game because it’s a good clinic on this issue from Roquan. You will see those tackles where he hits our guys are often from missed tackles where a guy broke one and Roquan tries to stop him. I’m not justifying it but explaining what I see. He’s still stupid but it all goes back to discipline. Roquan loses discipline and hits our guys because he is so focused on making a “play” to tackle the guy who is or already did break one

That’s because Ray had elite mental instincts despite his body rapidly aging. Roquan has an elite gut and just slow.
