49ers win! Caleb Williams just couldn't get the ball deep enough in the end zone for his receiver to make the catch.
 
What an absolute game. Must be nice to be a fan of a team with a shitty defense make one more stand to end it.

We better improve our run defense in the offseason... playing the NFC South next year is going to be rough. Bijon Robinson had a 93 yard run for a TD earlier in the game.
 
First of all, INSANE effort by Puka on that catch that was rightfully ruled incomplete. Amazing play by Terrell to break it up to prevent the Rams for entering FG range. Good win by the Falcons.

To your point, @JO_75 , their defense is pretty solid too it seems. As long as Lamar is healthy, we definitely got our work cut out that game. It's in the ATL too.
 
The Falcons can now impact who wins the NFC South next week. Even if the Bucs win on Saturday, they will have to wait for the conclusion of the Falcons-Saints game on Sunday. Carolina clinches the NFC South with a win but a loss to Tampa doesn't give Tampa the Division. If Atlanta wins out, and Tampa wins they would all finish 8-9.

Due to tiebreakers, Carolina would win the Division even if they lose on Saturday but Atlanta wins on Sunday. Crazy scenario, imagine Tampa winning thinking they won the Division but Atlanta knocks them out due to tiebreakers.

Yeah, looking forward to the Lamar-Baker matchup again next year. At least we are playing in Carolina so its an easy drive for me to the stadium.
