The Fumbles, the Lamar Injury, and the Season’s Over?

This team never recovered from losing to the Bills in Week 1.

Fumbling away the season is just a perfect encapsulation of the season as a whole.

Losing an 11 point 4th quarter lead adds another one to the list.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Monken is going to lose his job at this rate. Then again, Harbaugh is probably on the hotseat too and he might lose his job as well. This team is soooo cooked.

My second and final thought is... at what point will I get my credit for telling you in year 1 of Todd Monken that you'll never win a SB with him? He and Harbaugh are among the most mentally weak coaches in the league.

Such a mentally soft football team. Quite a fitting end to a disastrous season.

Huntley played as well as we could. Maybe we should've run it with Henry, but then again, it's isn't a foregone conclusion that we continue to run the ball well with him. Other from that false start, where was Likely in this game.

Defense..................whew boy. I don't even know what to say. But I'll tell you this much, the ONLY ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE I will give EDC in not adequately addressing BOTH trenches in the offseason is if we get outbid in FA or if there's a run of OL or pass-rush in the draft before we're up on the clock. Other from that? This better be a trenches-centric offseason.

Fire everyone and start over this off-season with people who understand that you win in the trenches so that we don't have to waste another year of Lamar's career worrying about injuries. Oh well atleast I can enjoy watching the Seahawks in the playoffs

This offence has so many gut wrenching fumbles to end the season

Zay against the chiefs in 2023
Andrews against the bills in 2024

So many massive fumbles this year in crucial spots: Henry against bills and lions, likely against bengals, zay (and Henry) against pats

This season has sucked. Been almost zero enjoyment from it.

Need to invest heavily in the lines of scrimmage this offseason.

I also think it's time to consider a coaching change.
