2026 OL Thread

Anybody watched Brian Parker II from duke? Been a while since I last watched him but my initial impressions were pretty high.

i'm a big fan

almost pat mekari type guy in a way - like he might be the missing piece to an offence over multiple years where he gives you starter-level play across multiple spots and allows you to get the 5 best guys on the field

but especially at RT and projecting to C, i'm a big fan of what he offers - leverage, footwork, hand usage, grip strength, leg drive

i've flipped again lol

i think it probably just means that they're both gonna end up with similar grades at the end and both probably going to be in the late 1st/early 2nd range for me

wouldn't want either at 14

also hard to know stylistically what we're looking for offensively in terms of style
What we’re looking for, and what I like in a G, can totally be two different things lol

Like his fellow alumni graham Barton, you don’t even know what position you’re drafting him for but you know for a fact he’s gonna get in there and make you start him wherever you need him.

If we could land him say in R3 while we have Corey bullock and emery jones, then you might survive if linderbaum leaves in FA, because one of Parker or bullock is gonna take the C job and jones and the other are likely to be your G tandem

he and barton are actually very similar profiles although barton was a more obviously elite athlete

A new name for you to research; you're the expert. I just like them or not, haha.
Jalen Farmer, OG, Kentucky, 6'5", 318 lbs.
Maybe a bit stiff in the feet, but seems to have good anchor, for a 4/5 round

yeah i like farmer as a mid-round guy - got him as a 3rd round type guy at the moment

he's super long and looks like he's carrying his weight really well - good athlete, good drive blocker, solid anchor and grip strength in pass pro

i dont see stiff feet but i do see maybe a bit of stiffness in his upper body
and bigger issue is the consistently wide hands

Guard Reed-Adams from Texas A&M looks like a diamond in the rough. His technique is a bit rough, but there's clear improvement over time, and he has the physical and mental traits for a good mauler in the trenches.

With every passing big name who starts watching schrauth tape, the more I feel like I’m right to be as high as I am on him

I watched some of his film pretty recently and came away pretty impressed

Where are you finding tape? Is that spreadsheet available again this year? @rossihunter2

a lot harder this year

the guy's youtube channel got taken down so less easily available offence vs defence tape this year so you have to do a bit more searching and scrolling

but he's got some stuff listed on this spreadsheet:
2026 NFL Draft Tape Tracker

if you want to get really deep i think caddy's cutups is where you can get the college all-22 if you want to pay for it

finally got to the tape

he's got a real edge in run blocking - physical, finishes, creates real displacement
mental side looks pretty good in terms of processing in passing game but some slow feet and late hands can be his undoing

enough tools to work with that this guy could definitely be a starter in the league (although the ceiling may be somewhat limited)

i like him - borderline day 2/3 guy for me - probably would be happier with him in R4 but if you told me he was pick 95-100 i think that's fine

I really like Kadyn Proctor as a G prospect. Not sure where he would go in the Draft, but I think spitball placement from me right now is Round 3.

ive got him late 2nd/early 3rd

consensus has him as a top 20 prospect... as a tackle...

Can someone who loves Ioane tell me what they love so much about him without using our 2025 OL as an example? By “love” I mean that he’s someone you see worthy of and are pounding the table for at 14

i dont love him but ill make the argument anyway:

1) he's going to solidify your pass protection - great core strength, anchor, grip strength, easy power - his physical tools allow him to control reps when he locks on

2) jarring power in his hands, creates displacement on drive blocks as a point of attack blocker especially in power/gap type run designs

3) clearly a film junkie

those would be the reasons you take him at 14 for me

i've got concerns around his play in space and his ability to work laterally to be effective in zone concepts - also some questions about his reaction quickness and recovery ability working on his edges
