This is why we need an offensive minded Head Coach if we move on from Harbaugh.Ben Johnson is getting most of the attention among new head coaches, and for a damn good reason, but Liam Coen has worked wonders for the Jaguars. The Jags are about to be 8-4 with a good chance of taking control of their division.
I think it's just important to have a coach that simply has a strong vision for the team, and a good Xs and Os mind. MacDonald is doing great is with the Seahawks. And honestly I think DeMeco Ryan is a pretty good one in spite of the Texans GM failing to fix their o-line. Either one of them would have us dominating the division. This is why we need an offensive minded Head Coach if we move on from Harbaugh.
If anything, it reminds me of the Lions from Campbell's first year. First step is to find their franchise QB. Next is to infuse some talent, particularly on offense and they too will compete for a playoff spot.People are gonna point fingers at Daniel Jones, but the coaching for the Colts has been pretty bad after the first few weeks. They got conservative after having a big division lead, and played not to lose.
On another note, I think Glen is doing a better job with the Jets than their record shows. That team should be getting rolled by other teams, but almost every game is close. They're still playing hard to get another win despite their awful record. It feels like Saleh all over again.
All that other stuff only matters if we split the seriesI really hope the Bills play to their aptitude and ability. Otherwise, my fears are realized: the Steelers are up two game on us. Overall win total, Conference win, and common opponent. We're fucked. Did our coaches see this prior to Thanksgiving?!
Do you trust that we'll split playing the way we are?! Come on, man! The Steelers own us over the last 2 years. All that other stuff only matters if we split the series
Correction, it only matters if we split the series and tie within division recordAll that other stuff only matters if we split the series
