2019 MLB Postseason

The NLDS is shaping up to be a good one. Cardinals have now tied the series with the Braves at 2 a piece, and the Nationals have tied their series with the Dodgers at two a piece. Rays came back in a big way after being down 2-0 and beat the Astros 10-3. They now have game 4 tomorrow to try to tie up the series. The Yankees meanwhile have punched their ticket to the ALCS with a clean sweep of the Minnesota Twins.

earlier in the season I thought the Dodgers would win by four. Now that it is tied and Strasburg will be on the mound, I think we have a good chance winning. Of course, the Nationals have to score enough runs to cover the runs that will be given up when the bullpen is on the mound. They Nationals bullpen blew 21 close chances.
 
Braves decided to get blown out at home in a Game 5 situation....... unbelievable. Nationals down early 2-0 in the top of the 5th with two men on base.
 
Nationals with back to back home runs to tie the game at 3 in the 8th inning. Dodgers going to choke BEFORE the World Series this year?

Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale, owner of a furniture store in Houston, placed a $3.5M bet on the Astros to win the World Series. It's one of the largest bets ever taken by a U.S. bookmaker

He was apparently also the same guy who placed the 1m on the Astros yesterday to hedge his promotion that would give away $15 million worth of free furniture if the Astros win the WS.
 
It be hilarious if the Nationals not only get to the World Series but win it the same season they lost Harper in Free Agency.

Sanchez went 7 2/3 innings. Doolittle pitched the final 4 outs.

Then Scherzer comes in and pitches an equally impressive game, if not more so. Two games down, two to go.
 
Michael Buffer in the background asking fans if they are ready to Rumble in Washington is awesome. Very nice touch by the Nationals.
 
Nats win 8-1. Starting pitching has only given up 2 runs to the Cardinals in the three games.

one more game and onto the World Series.

Washington, DC hasn't had a World Series since 1933.
