Thursday Night Football
Raiders @ Broncos: Thursday Night Football kicks off in Denver as the AFC West leading Denver Broncos host the Las Vegas Raiders. You heard that right, for the first time in 10 years, the Broncos find themselves atop the AFC West. To put that in perspective, second year Quarterback Bo Nix was 15, Pete Carroll was leading a Seahawks dynasty and Jack Del Rio was the Raiders Head Coach.
The Broncos are on a six-game winning streak thanks to some fourth quarter magic. The Broncos remain without Patrick Surtain II, which should open things up for a Raiders offense that just got Brock Bowers back. Following the trade of Jakobi Myers, look for Bowers to be the main go to for this game. If the Raiders can find a way to keep the Denver offense in check, they will have a shot but if not, it will be a long night for the Raiders defense.
International Game - Sunday 9:30AM (Germany)
Falcons @ Colts: The AFC leading Indianapolis Colts and the Atlanta Falcons are heading for a showdown in Germany Sunday Morning as the Colts look to remain atop the AFC while the Falcons are looking to end a three game losing streak. Following their blockbuster acquisition of Jets Cornerback Sauce Gardner, the Colts look to rebound following what might have been a wake up call against the Steelers. The Colts offense turned the ball over six times last week, including three interceptions by Daniel Jones. For Atlanta, getting Bijon Robinson going is key as they are 0-5 when he has fewer than 150 scrimmage yards. Michael Penix did throw three touchdowns last week, but it does seem consistency is the problem for Atlanta. So wake up early, cook some breakfast and start the drinking early.
Sunday 1PM Early Games
Ravens @ Vikings: The Ravens fresh off their mini-bye following their win over Miami last Thursday Night head to Minnesota to take on the Minnesota Vikings. This will be Lamar's first time playing in Minnesota with a chance to get revenge on Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores who simply broke Lamar. If the Vikings run defense continues to be stingy against Derrick Henry and company this week, it will be up to Lamar's arm to beat the Vikings. The Vikings defense held Jahmyr Gibbs and the Lions to a net of 65 yards, while holding Saquon Barkley and the Eagles to just 45 yards. The Ravens defense on the other hand is starting to come around, and if Zach Orr can capitalize on the inexperience of J.J. McCarthy to make mistakes and create turnovers, it will be a long day for the Minnesota offense.
Giants @ Bears: The Chicago Bears look to avoid a post-shootout letdown as they host Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants. Coming off a thrilling 47–42 win over Cincinnati, Caleb Williams continued his breakout rookie campaign with three touchdown passes, including the game-winner to Colston Loveland, bringing his season totals to 12 TDs and four INTs. Rookie running back Kyle Monangai dominated in D’Andre Swift’s absence, rushing for 176 yards in a game where Chicago piled up 283 yards on the ground. He’ll face a Giants defense surrendering nearly 140 rushing yards per game. New York, still winless on the road, continues to battle injuries and offensive inconsistency. Jaxson Dart has shown promise, but with limited protection and a struggling run game, pressure continues to mount on Brian Daboll to spark progress.
