Most all of them were draft picks from this year or last... And they were in mostly blocked positions for now. But these are the kind of deals I wish they would entice a guy coming in with another 10-20M to get for another couple years
 
This sucks.... injuries already impacting the team and it's not even opening day yet. It seemed the Orioles started to come around last season once they got healthier and were getting key players back.

 
That's a bad injury. Somebody I read compared it to an oblique. That shit never really heals.

Alas, snow is melting and hope SPRINGS eternal! Let's go O's!

It's funny that article I read referred to Holliday's hand injury as like an oblique injury in that never it quite heals and now we have a legit oblique injury with Westy. He's becoming the man of glass, sadly. I read this might take months... I was hoping they'd bring Ramon Urias back, but it looks like they got Bryan Ramos back from the Cards for 3B/IF duties... Maybe Mayo will put 3B together in ST.
 
I was at the Spring Training game on Sunday. The park looks great. The scoreboard/ new screen is excellent. The team looked good.

I'm hoping Beavers and Mayo really get it together. If Mayo can cut the errors at 3B and be steady, that IF could be pretty damn good.
 
Thank God they got rid of last year's city connect unis, though the hat was OK.

I like the patch on the left arm. "From the stoop to the Yard." Kinda funny. Not a fan of uni tho. I hate that damn duck looking Oriole. I can't stand that it's becoming more and more prominent. Those all orange uni's were cool last year, definitely throwbacks to the early and mid 70's. And if you look at some of the other CC unis this year, for me the best one's are the solid color ones. Pittsburgh and Cincy are really nice. I also like the Brewers and Braves ones with the white pants and alternate team color shirts. Texas is funny because there's no difference from their regular unis. ;)

I started collecting some of the classic and alternate logo hats from the late 60's and 70's last year. The Running Red, The Swinging Friar, The Astodome with the atoms around it. I wish they'd do some more with those old ones.
 
We aren't looking great right now. Alonso's just polar and not any bear at all at the plate right now.

I don't know if anyone else likes box scores, but I used to read them all the time when I was a kid. Found a site where the guy does the box scores daily in the old newspaper fashion with all the daily games, standings, and leaders on one page. Awesome! So simple and easy to catch up.
