When you have a SB potential squad, is not the time for on the job training. They brought in Pees to help him then Pagano. If he needs this much help, he shouldn't be the DC.
Are they really going to squander another season of Lamars prime by experimenting with a coordinator who's clearly innover his head.

That's understandable but coordinators need help all of the time. I think Dean Pees was called for help because there was a realization that the coaching staff on the defensive side got guttered after Mike MacDonald, Anthony Weaver and Dennard Wilson left. That's just alot to lose especially during a time of a rookie defensive coordinator whom obviously was calling plays for the first time in 2024. As great as Mike MacDonald was especially in 2023 I doubt he wasn't relying heavily on Anthony Weaver and Dennard Wilson assistance when it came to schemes and game planning.

I think Zach Orr is intelligent defensive mind and may even be a genius. I think there was a reason why John Harbaugh hired him instead of a more experience coach like Anthony Weaver or Dennard Wilson . I really think he impressed in his interview with John Harbaugh and I think Eric Decosta even mentioned that he think's Zach Orr could be a head coach some day. I just think he may not be as quick when it comes to adjusting and realizing flaws like Mike MacDonald. What we do know is when the defense had issues last year Zach and his staff was able to turn it around. Hopefully they can do it again and start doing it tomorrow on Sunday. It's possible Chuck Pagano was hired to eventually replace Zach Orr but we shall see.
