Audible into a quick pass/hot read. Slow them down, make them respect that play may happen.

Last week I asked a rhetorical question about Lamar changing the play at the line of scrimmage. While it seems everyone agrees it's happening, you hardly ever see the quick slant, or hot read to beat the blitz. Not sure why.
 
I’m assuming we’ll hear something on Lamar today? I mean no updates is kind of weird and kind of implies he was pulled and we gave up , which is fine sadly since we knew we had no chance to win and only had a chance to make things worse.

But also the Harbaugh smokescreen in play too

77 is awful and I can’t believe he’s been getting defended by some. He just got Lamar hurt, at least 77 is still playing this week
 
Mitchell needs to be playing this week. We need to go run heavy with Henry and get some speed outside runs with Mitchell, and a lot of Flowers quick screen game.

If Henry doesn’t get 30 carries and or Mitchell doesn’t play, fire Monken

Welp.... no firing is going to salvage the season with Lamar injured. Season is done, 1-5 at the BYE. At least we'll be able to get a top DL or OL player with a high draft pick.

I will never believe a thing I hear on Lamar because that shit is so locked down. I refuse to believe he's going to miss 2-3 weeks until he actually misses 2-3 weeks. No one in that building talks about Lamar.
