The Injuries, the Defense and the Offense (and the Special Teams)

vorhees giving up 3 pressures in that game and not a word from anyone...
linderbaum giving up 4 himself

RR the only OL not to give up a pressure this game

Bc one of these guys were hyped up during the preseason and has a Pro-Bowl

You're right though, Vorhees hasn't been good this year.

By all accounts, Oline graded out reasonable well in this game on individual assignments. Chiefs were just blitz heavy and we had no answer for it. Not reasonable to expect Olines to hold up to 5+ man pressures consistently.

What's odd is that they looked good on that first drive when they went to the short pass game which set up some nice runs. They just went away from this

Let others tell it, he isnt even worth anything lol.

If we had him I think our defense would look closer to what it did last year. He would have enabled Hamilton to go back to being a game wrecker closer to the box.

Starks and Ar'Darius sounds good to me. We've had a very weird last few years at safety and there is one that I felt knew the system well and we should have kept but didn't because of the contract we had given Williams and that was Geno Stone.

Yep like I said, I get Faalele is the cool guy to hate. And when he has a bad rep, it often just looks extreme. But he's been significantly more consistent than his counterpart and no one is out there blasting him on a day to day basis. I actually think there's been more good than bad from Faalele snap over snap.

Agree with this. If there's a Guard that's getting benched, Vorhees is first not Faalele.

And probably not a coincidence that the OL got much better last year when Vorhees got hurt and Mekari replaced him. Not that Mekari was great by any means, but Vorhees was such a negative and it's looking similar this year. Unfortunately, there's no Mekari waiting around.

also if you're worried about mentality on the backend, no one is going to give you more of that than ar'darius

faalele has the same issue as last year

he doesn't lose often, but when he loses, it's absolutely horrific
linderbaum loses a lot slower when he loses normally

vorhees is both less consistently good, but doesn't get dominated in his bad reps in as obviously horrible ways - just bad

faalele's probably an average or just below-average starter with the occasional awful rep
vorhees is clearly just a below average or even just bad starter right now

people complain about faalele but he's not been the worst OL of the 5 in either of the last 2 years as a starter
a line with Faalele as the 5th best guy is probably a really good OL

unfortunately if Stanley's down for any sort of time, Faalele might be the 3rd best guy on this OL...

Exactly this. The film don’t lie. Cherry picking plays and spreading agendas does.

I agree, it just seemed like he understood what was being asked of him and did not look lost. What he was able to do in a couple of games with Kyle Hamilton was noting short of amazing. I had hoped going into the year and drafting Starks would allow Hamilton the freedom to generate more QB pressure but of course he got injured.

I think that kid might be special. Time will tell.

every week there's a new clip cherry-picked from the coaches film without context (and sometimes not even a bad clip) but being used to spread an agenda to fans who don't know what they're watching

i'm glad that i can access coaches film, it's helped me understand the game so much better than i did 15 years ago - but there's a reason it's called coaches film and not fan's film

No there are words lol. Vorhees is the worst lineman I've seen since maybeeeee DJ Fluker

i've been ringing the alarm bells on vorhees since the stadium practice

the problem we have, that lots of fans that are screaming about our G play are ignoring, is that there's no one to replace the Gs with...

cleveland has 3 whole snaps and made a complete fool of himself on 1 of them, jones is on NFI, bullock has played and practiced exclusively at C and samac, dellinger and dalcourt are all on other teams

bullock feels like the best option but i dont think the ravens pull that trigger for the same reason they were nervous about mekari being the starting LG last year... who's your backup C?
