Game day from the west coast!!! Offseason passed quickly for me this year. I really really fucking want this win. I like that there's a lot of pressure on us early and often - I think it'll help us prepare for that later.

We are often too dominate to find ourselves in close game situations so I'm happy to play good opponents right out the gate.

Because Ali is the better returner, contributes on the other ST units, and a 3rd RB is unlikely to get any offensive snaps anyways.

With the exception of kicks missed or made, has there been a big or significant play on special teams in any of the games today?

Or is Harbaugh just determined to act as if special teams are much more important than they actually are forever?

If it was a straight RB3 decision, both of those guys are standing there with their helmets in hand with 0 offensive snaps most likely. But ST gives Ali the nod because he’s going to eat more snaps. If something were to happen and they needed an actual RB next week, Mitchell is most likely the guy getting more carries.
