Brutal first game where any result can happen and it'll come down to one or two plays. Fuck the NFL for putting it in Week 1 when the result is going to be crucial for seeding but neither team will be up to full speed so the result might well come down to some stupid mistake rather than which team is actually better.
On the other hand, it's the regular season so we might just steamroll them.
just seems dumb to me that you would front-load the season with all these games between the best in the league
only reason to do so would be if you're pretty confident you're going to get the matchups again in the playoffs
but you've got bills-ravens and chiefs-ravens in the first 4 weeks of the season for the 2nd year in a row, adding ravens-lions too in that same period is wild
and the end result is also dumb because it means the ravens and bengals play each other twice in three weeks in the final 6 weeks which also seems silly, 5 of the 6 division games are in the last 8 games on the schedule
