there's genuinely part of me that would almost be ok skipping the whole season and just going straight from draft to draft lol
the scouting/team-building side of things really scratches an itch for my brain

Its fairly obvious lol. But I'm glad because I learn a lot reading yours and others posts.

Well I post in here plenty so...

But you know how there's moments where even the most hardened addict is ashamed of their own self debasement? Like at Thanksgiving and you ask your 14 yr old nephew if he has a "pick me up". That's the draft.

Are we ready for the most overrated sporting event of the year? I do follow the draft of course and will be waiting all night for the Ravens' pick. But ya'll do have to admit this is a lot of hoopla, pomp & circumstance for a group of kids whom 2/3 of which will have perfectly forgettable careers. Every year i have to explain to my wife what im watching for 3 hours and I'm embarrassed as I hear myself say it.

That's why I love Madden so much. I spent so much time trying to get the perfect draft, just to be absolute garbage playing the actual game
