Way nicer in Colorado , dry and fluffy ,easy to clear and sun is warm.
That’s what I’m saying. It’s incredibly rare these days to get nice snow in md. Occasionally we’ll get a light dusting of nice snow, like 1-4 inches. every handful of years we might get up to a foot of snow but anytime that happens it’s almost always got rain involved that turns everything into a skating rink. Winter in the mid Atlantic might not be the coldest or snowiest, but it’s gotta be some of the most miserable winter weather on earth when the precipitation does hit.

Completely agree. Usually its a cold icy rain with enough ice spots to make you fall on your ass. Terrible. I used to spend a few months each winter in the Colorado Rockies and after a snow , if the sun was out at 25 degrees , you could shovel snow in a sweat shirt with no jacket the sun was so warm.

I’m dying to see Colorado while it’s snowing. One of these days I will… Swiss alps even more so

I do not care for winter here in the Mid Atlantic but I would absolutely hate it where you are. Your heating bills must be insane. Do you ever plan to move to some place warmer when you retire?
I can't speak for everyone, but generally speaking, a lot of the heating methods the Mid-Atlantic uses, like heat pumps and electrical systems, aren't as popular or effective in actual cold-weather climates. Most northern climates use natural or propane gas for heating. Not cheap, but arguably cheaper than electrical heating that's frequent in the MD-type areas.

It's also somewhat of a trade off. Higher heating costs in the Winter for lower cooling costs in the Summer. You go into places in the Northeast, where winters are rough, and they don't really do central Air Conditioning.

I live in VA, which is a milder climate. We get 90-100 degrees plus humidity in the Summer and 20-30 degrees in the Winter. I spend significantly more $ to cool my house than to heat it.

If you want real comedy, check out like London area. They have mild summers. When it gets to like 80-85 degrees outside, they think it's the end of the World. Air conditioning is very rare over there. Most areas of the US 80-85 highs is windows open, let the breeze fill the air days.

Like I said idk from experience but I feel like snow is just much nicer in other places
No question. But with that comes an extra 3 or 4 months of freezing temps. Another hard pass for me, too much right here as it is.

Heat pumps were invented for climates that don’t generally see temps under 40. Below that they actually use more energy than they produce.

Largely true. I think they've gotten better over the years. In mild climates they're still pretty efficient down to like 25-30 degrees or so. Not sustainable for like an entire time, but if overnight lows for a few months are in that range, still economically the best option.

Lamar practiced on a Wednesday..... so either this is good or this is bad. Either way, can we please calm the playcalling down with Lamar? Just call plays like you would with Huntley but with Lamar.

Honestly even if they call plays 80% of the time like they did with Huntley, we will be in good shape.

It’s so odd that it hasn’t happened in prior games. Has to be more to the story, not sure what it is.

I think it’s just that they know what Lamar’s capable of because of years past, and they keep trying but won’t admit that the OL isn’t suited to handle that kinda offense this year. They have a winning formula on offense if they would just implement it, but Todd would rather be the swinging dick playcaller who designs big plays.

I don't know if it's a combination of play-calling and Lamar getting rid of the ball quickly, but I look back at the Vikings game. I don't recall Lamar ever going deep (in large part, he couldn't because their defense wouldn't even allow it). Game plan needs to be similar to that.

85 in London is horrible though because of the humidity they get they. They just aren't geared up for that weather as it only lasts 2 weeks. Half of the silly bastards get sun stroke because they can't handle the weather and sun bake in it all day.

SHEEIT I’d hate for them to feel summer humidity in MD and we ain’t even in the south

We’ll get 90 plus degrees with humidity that will wet your clothes within 5 minutes for half the summer
