With some very real playoff potential but some reality about the AFC / NFC quality this season there are some both exciting and depressing scenarios that could come to pass.

Clearly winning it all is prefered. Duh.

What other options would you prefer?
 
I am off the thought "win as much as you can "
It would suck to get into the Super Bowl and lose, but I think it would suck more to be done in December.
 
Is this what i prefer or expect bc I expect to make playoffs win against whoever gets the the 3 seed then lose to NE in either Conference or Championship game.
 
So if this is what I prefer, I think the answer is kind of obvious. Realistically, I'm not sure it could actually happen.

With there being so many "Tankers" on these boards no answer is obvious.
At least one has already checked "not make it at all"

I root for us to lose for a draft pick when the situation calls for it. 2015 as an example. But I'm not rooting for it this year nor was I rooting for it last year. Until we lose our qb or are mathematically eliminated I'm rooting for wins.

However... I don't expect us to make the playoffs let alone make a push, I think it's a joke to even talk about it. Still rooting for wins though.
 
I'm conflicted.
Normal me wants as many wins as possible.
Rational me says not make it at all if that means cleaning the house in the coaching department and some changes in how we scout/draft.
 
I would be very happy with us making the playoffs and winning in wild card to fall to the pats. This team doesn't have what it takes to go all the way but we can make it to divisional imo

For me, I was ok with losing when Flacco went down, but I was happy when we beat the Steelers that year. Can’t say I was cheering for the other team, as I wanted a good game.
 
I can't believe the results. It's about 50/50 between fans who want to make it to the Superbowl and those who want us to be less successful for some reason. And it's not because they want coaching and FO changes because if we make a "deep push" into the playoffs as 40% voted, there wouldn't be any changes. They just don't want the Ravens in the Superbowl. If we make it to the championship game presumably they'll be cheering on the Patriots, Steelers or whoever. (Maybe they just don't want to watch our miserable offence.)

you misunderstand - this is given the fact that we wont win the superbowl - if i know we arent gonna win the superbowl then id rather not lose our "trend" of winning both superbowls weve been a part of (i realise its small) obviously if we were to make the championship game id be cheering on the ravens as loudly as possible because i wouldnt know whether we'd win the superbowl once we got there because its not predetermined like it is in this poll
 
the other thing of course is that if we make it to the superbowl itll be extra painful if we lose - so knowing beforehand that were gonna lose id want to eschew that painful experience
 
If I voted I'd go no playoffs. We're the last team with multiple rings and no losses... SO HELL NO! Don't want to tarnish that record. On the way to doing that we also knocked off two teams who were previously undefeated in the big game. Also, like I said, that gives the FO free reign to say why change the staff if we made playoffs and won a game. Hopefully, with an off season dedicated to offense we bring in a fresh mind to try and make something work, even though I'd like to keep Roman. The caveat to my not making playoffs is that we only win one more game.... Hmmm...
